I took a deep breath, preparing myself for the big performance. Today finally came after all the hard work. I have already prepared for this for more than a month. “Are you ready for this?” Coach Jim asked me as we lined up backstage, waiting for our turn to perform.
I gave him a nod, and he smiled at me. At first, I found my heart thumping wildly against my chest. But after I heard the crowd also cheering at our performance, it lifted up my confidence to a higher level. I have rehearsed so many times, my body moved naturally according to the rhythm. I saw Marcus smiled at me in between many people in the bleacher's seat. He’s been so sweet and supportive towards me ever since our conversation in his vacation house.
As I continue to move my body, I felt a little bit dizz
