Simone POV
“Simone, are you okay? I just heard about the accident in the cheerleader training.” Marcus asked me worriedly as I went back to the class. We had a math class together. Seems like rumor spread faster than fire here. “I’m fine, Marcus. The nurse had treated me earlier.” I replied curtly. “Then, it means she was an excellent nurse. I think her skills could pass our healer, Maria. You can walk completely fine now.” he said in astonishment. I left out the Caiden part so that he wouldn’t ask more questions at me. I just smiled awkwardly at him. “I guess so.”
He smiled at me and grabbed my right hand under the table. His touch still managed to formed butterflies in my stomach and made me feel giddy. He was more than enough for me. I kept repeating those words inside my head.
