"Does it hurt?" I smiled reassuringly in response. Apparently, while I was unconscious, Alexander managed to get away and take out the bullet stuck in my wound. And for the past five minutes, he has been switching out my bandages. He kept asking me if I was okay even though we both knew that he was in worse shape than I was.
