Chapter 16 I chased after Scarlett, sand kicking up behind me and stumbling the whole way. Her shoes dangled from her fingers, making it easier for her to run even though she wore a dress. She glanced back, excitement and temptation in her eyes, and I picked up the pace. No way was I not going to catch her.
