Ethan and Graham approached me after the meeting and shook my hand.
“Thanks for doing this,” Ethan said. “It will mean a lot to Sawyer, and that means a lot to us.”
“Absolutely.”
“I’m happy to help. I don’t know much of anything about planning a wedding, but I want to see them married,” I explained.
“Thanks. It’s good to know Sawyer has people like you here. Makes it easier on the rest of us,” Graham said. “He’s like a brother to us.”
I nodded. “I don’t know him well, but he’s a good guy. When I found out what they did, giving up their wedding, it just didn’t sit well with me.”
