REINA'S POV

It's been days since me and Ayden had our first kiss, since then we were always hanging out. From the Pantry to the Training grounds, the pack members were uncomfortable when Ayden first came to training and Ayden being himself just stayed at the back looking a bit left out. So I accompanied him for awhile then the instructor our Gamma called him and a guard for a duel. It was brutal at first as Ayden shifted to Reed and the guard to his wolf, oddly Reed is much more bigger than the guards' wolf. Both wolves circle around the ring, the guards' wolf striked first but Reed dodged his attack and bit his neck throwing the guard to the other side of the room. Reed then growled and came straight to me we were staring at each other as I help my hand up to his head and he leaned down on me. The pack member cheered and Reed shifted to Ayden. I gave him some shorts and smiled. That was the quickest duel that ever lasted on the pack who would've known that a Rogue can beat a member of the pack, this means that our pack members are lacking in strategy in defeating the opponent. I need to speak with our Gamma about this.

"You did a good job Ayden" I kissed his cheeks.

"Well I gotta impress you somehow right?" We just laughed with each other."It's working all right"I added kissing him again on his cheeks "Well that's good to know" he winked at me.

We looked back to the training grounds and Ryle was in the duel ring with our Beta, Damon. Both of them shifted and Allan attacked the beta first after shifting, Damon dodged his attacks as he strikes back biting Allan’s hind leg. Allan whimpered in pain but somehow got out with the beta's hold. He was now limping. his breath is now deep as he stared at Damon angrily, heavily then he stood his ground as Ryle's wolf made a howl as he looked back at Damon we were shocked to see his eyes glow Red. Damon's wolf cowered and submitted to Allan , but Allan didn't have any mercy as he tackled down Damon's wolf biting every bit of Damon's wolf as he grabbed hold of Damon's neck, our Gamma shifted and stopped both wolves before Allan ends up killing Damon. Allan shifted to Ryle, limping as Damon did the same thing and Ryle just looked apologetic to Damon but stared to the rest of us still shocked to see his beastly side. Ryle locked eyes with me and ran out the training grounds.

"RYLE Wait!!!" I ran after him, he was fast but I was able to catch up we both ended up near the tree house. "Ryle talk to me, what happened out there?"

"Rei, I don't know it's like I can feel myself changing" he looked back at me, scared. I have never seen my brother this scared, never in my entire life.

"Shhh it's okay we'll figure something out, let's go to the tree house.

"Your stupid, I'm limping and you want me to climp up?"

"Uhhh yeah your right let's go to the pack house to my office." We walked inside the pack house and went to my office. I sat down in my seat as Ryle sat down opposite to me. Sh*t I almost forgot about Ayden, I can't mind link him as we are not official mates yet. I'll just send a mind link to our Gamma.

//Uncle?//

'Yes princess?'

//Is Ayden still there?//

'Yeah he's still here standing at the back again'

//Can you ask him to come to my office please?//

'Sure honey'

//Thanks Uncle//

I cut off our link and Ryle was staring at me. "What?"

"Who were you linking?"

"I asked Uncle Ted to let Ayden come here, enough of me Ryle What's wrong with you? What was that about in the ring?"

"I-I don't know Rei, it's like Allan was changing, I could feel anger and this strange power came into me. I was angry that Damon attacked my leg he knew that I was quick and he attacked it first! I was getting angrier and angrier then I lunged at him. When uncle came between us, the power stopped and it felt like I was back in control"

"Have you asked Allan what happened"

"He won't talk to me Rei"

*knock *knock

"Come in" Ayden peeped to the door and smiled as he saw me but shifted his eyes to Ryle then he gained his composure."Hey, sorry I left you out"

"Nah it's fine I understand, you okay Ayden?"

"Barely"

"I gotta ask, since when did your eyes glow red like earlier?" Ayden asked.

"I-I don't know this is the first time that it happened." Ayden came closer to me and caressed my back calming my nerves.

"Do you wanna go to your room??"

"I'll go to the infirmary first for my leg"

"Sure go ahead, do you need company?"

"Yeah sure" All of us stood up and walked down to the infirmary. The pack doctor was checking Ryle's leg as we wait for his Physical Exam, Damon came to the infirmary. Ryle saw Damon came in and waved him to get closer.

" Damon bro, I'm sorry about earlier I don't know what happened to me"

"It's fine Ry, it was my fault Rex attacked your leg first I don't know what happened to him too but man! You almost killed me today"

"Yeah I'm sorry"

"It's fine Ry. it's just training"

"Hey Damon , I think you haven't met Ayden yet" I called out to Damon , hoping he would connect with Ayden. It's possible that they're brother's.

"Yeah I was the one who captured him"

"You weren't the one who tortured me right?" Ayden asked.

"No bro that's probably our Gamma, you know he's brutal when it comes to Rogues"

"Oh I see"

"You know you look very familiar, I can't quite get who you remind me of"

"Really?"

"Hey Damon , you saw Ayden earlier right with Steven "

"Yeah!! who knew he could humiliate Steven like that, good job bro!"

"Wait why?"

"Steven's a douchebag, he constantly flirts with unmated she-wolves and he even impregnated one that isn't even his mate!"

"Sounds like a douche all right, what happened with the pup?"

"The mother kept the pup, and we agreed to let him pay Child Support every month until thepup is 18"

"Why only until 18?"

"Well he claimed to 'love' his mate and was willing to wait for her, he doesn't want her mate to know that he has a pup with another girl"

"Well that's great?" Ayden looked at us as we shook our heads. "What? Is it wrong?"

"It's a reasonable situation but he has to choose either he will reject his mate and stay with the pup's mom or he has to pay child support until the pup's 18th birthday and stay with his mate"

"Wow so either way he's screwed right?"

"Exactly and he chose his mate and paid for child support, serves him right for all the stupid stunts he did lately"

"Yeah! remember when he used to date two omegas atones and when they found out they locked him out the pack out without clothes on"

"HAHHAHAHA That was hilarious!"

"So Ayden, how about we'll hang out? I could help you with training and afterwards we could go for drinks with me and Damien?" Ryle and Damon looked at Ayden waiting for his response.

"I'd like that"

"Great! See you later at 7?" Damien said.

"Sure!"

"Nice! Right after the doctor finish up though, this leg is killing me!" We all laughed at Ryle.

"You people, your enjoying this aren't you?!"

"Relax Ry, it's not everyday we got to hear you whimpering"

"Shut up Rei!"

"Moody as always " We laughed again.

Ace and Janice came running to the infirmary, they both looked at Ayden but shifted their eyes to Damien. "Damon ! Are you okay? Where does it hurt?! Who did this to you?" Aunt Janice said worriedly."Son, who did this to you?" Uncle Ace said. Ryle raised his eyes shyly as Uncle Ace and Aunt Janice stared at him.

"I'm sorry uncle and aunty, I don't know what happened with Alex today, I lost control of him" Ryle interrupted their staring session.

"Oh my prince were you roughhousing again?" Aunt Janice said sheepishly and Uncle Ace released a calmed sigh. "We were training Ma, we were dueling with our wolves It's my fault really I bit Ryle's legs first" Damien said apologetically.

"Well I didn't know your gay son" Uncle Ace said out of the blue.

We laughed as Damon defends for himself.

"I AM NOT! DAD COME ON! IT WAS MY STRATEGY TO DEFEAT RYLE! GODS!" We laughed at his outburst then Aunt Morgan looked at Ayden.

"Who's this?"

"Oh uhm Aunt Janice Uncle Ace this is Ayden my Mate." I said to them, they looked shocked as Uncle Ace stared at Ayden. Ayden looked exactly as Uncle Ace, if uncle was in the same age as Ayden they could've been twins!

*gasp

"Ace..." Aunt Janice looked at Uncle Ace. confused and shocked.

"Ayden?" Uncle Ace called out to Ayden.

"Yeah? Do you guys know me?" They were shocked down to their feet. I knew they were family but were not sure yet until we get the DNA Results, speaking of which I need to get some samples of his again later on.

"Uhh..." They just stood there staring at Ayden again, oh my gods hug him! Kiss him! Ask how he’s doing! These people really..

"Ma? Pa?" Damien stared at his parents and back to Ayden. Somehow both of them snapped back to reality.

" Well you know how these kids can be brutal in the Ring, see told you honey he could do it HAHAHAH Say uhmmm… Reina, is your grandfather still traveling?" Uncle Ace asked.

"Yes he'll be here on our birthday in two weeks why?" I asked him.

"Well no reason just let me know if he’s around missing that guy already hahah" he turned to me away from Ayden, but Aunt Janice is still staring at him like she was aboutto cry.

"okay uncle but Aunt Janice? Are you okau?" All of us just looked at her.

“Huh? Oh uhm Yes dear really so u-uhm Damon dear are youokay? How about you my prince?”

“We’re fine Ma, what’s wrong with the both of you, your being creepy”

“N-nothing we’re just surprised of what happened between you too, you kids scared us a lot” Aunt Janice replied. She really tried hard to keep the truth from coming. *sighs I guess I have to let them know that we knew what happened years ago. Besides Ayden looks a LOT like Uncle Ace, there’s no denying genetics here.

Ayden looks confused as with Damon parents, I knew they felt a connection with Ayden they're just not sure yet. "Eheem …. Uncle Ace Aunt Janice, can I see you both later? In my father's office?"

"Sure honey" Aunt Janice smiled. In the meanwhile I nudged Ayden to come with me.

"What's up?"

"I need to talk to Damon Parents later, do you mind if I’ll leave you for a couple of hours?" He chuckled.

"You don’t have to seek for my permission do what you haveto do baby I don’t mind’ He kissed my cheek ans I smiled. “I’ll be back as soon as possible”

“w ell I'll just rest up to my room didn't get a chance to sit down earlier though,uhmmm Rei does Damon's parents knew me?"

"I don’t think so, Why?" Oh s**t I have to dismiss this topic he’s not ready to know yet!

"They looked like they knew me but I have never met them all my life, earlier they looked like they’ve seen a ghost you know?"

"I don't know baby, we'll figure out soon I guess" Oh s**t, stay cool.. stay cooll

"Okay" He looked back and I took some hair at his back as quickly as possible but he felt it "Ow! What was that? Did touch my hair?"

"Yeah there was some dirt stuck in your hair, I'm paranoid for things that doesn't belong in things hahaha" Ah s**t really? Dirt?! oh my gods I hope it’s not noticeable. "Okay? so uhh I'll just go to my room then" He kissed my cheeks. "See you later?"

"Sure" I smiled at him as he went back to his room.

I went to the infirmary, and called Aunt Janice and Uncle Ace and told them to go to my Fathers' study. They went ahead and I mind link my dad to give him a heads up.

// Dad?can you meet me in your office?//

'Yeah Sure,what’s wrong sweet pea? '

//Uncle Ace and Aunt Janice met Ayden today, I think they knew dad both of them wereshocked as they saw Ayden //

I cut off our mind link, and went inside my Father's office I can see Damon’s parents waiting in the room and they bowed as they saw me.

"Why do you need to see us dear?" Both of them stared at me as I entered the room."Aunt Janice Uncle Ace I know you have a lot of question but let's wait first for my father to arrive and let's talk then please take a seat"

"Sure dear thank you" Both of them sat in front of my Father's desk as I sat opposite to them. My father then came, we stood up and bowed to the Alpha.

"Mr. and Mrs. Morgan, How are you?"

"We've been well Alpha all thanks to your Father, Where is he by the way?I s there a way we can speak to him now? " Uncle Ace said.

"I understand the urgency Mr. Morgan however you must know that we are also working on the misunderstandings lately" my father said as he faced and nodded at me to continue.

"Misunderstandings?What do you mean Alpha? Everything’s fine now" Aunt Janice added.

"Aunty uncle we know you lost your first born child 20 years ago to an Alpha" Both of them turned to me shocked. “And we knew it’s Ayden” They looked horrified and Aunt Janice just sighed let cried. "We know 22 years ago some Alpha threatened you for your son and you gave him up for the pack, we know you still wanted him so you and my grandpa planned an assassination to get your child back but you never did. No clothes, no scent, and no body but my grandpa halted the search and were so sorry we weren't able to retrieve your child"

"No honey, it's not your grandpa's fault in fact it was also our decision to stop the search, the pack were exhausted as it lasted for days so we decided to stop." Aunt Janice added.

"But what if he came back? Ayden is here!" I asked them.

"Then that would change everything, Damon's right as the Beta of the pack and that could result to chaos ,I know how badly Damon wanted to be the Beta but I don't know what will happen if our first born would be here but as a family that would have been great." Uncle Ace added.

"Seeing my child for the first time in many years, it feels reassuring and that he was meant to be with us. Princess tell me, is it certain?" Aunt Janice asked.

"We are still not certain but we are taking a DNA Test to figure it out, we just needed both of your samples and Ayden’s samples to start" my father replied. “Here dad” I gave him Ayden’s hair and he sealed it in a zip lock bag

"Oh my gods, Ace he could be our son... Ayden could be our son! After all he looks a lot like you before you know. Oh! my goddess thank you so much." Aunt Janice proclaimed.

"Please uncle and aunty we don't want to give you false hopes that's why we kept it to ourselves well not until we got the results."

"We understand but dear genetics doesn't lie as well" Uncle Ace added sheepishly.

"We just wanted to be sure first" my Father added.

"This is great! Our son might be back! And mated to you dear my gods! THAT SOUNDS SO WONDERFUL!" I just smiled at them.

“So what do we do now?” Uncle Ace asked. “Is there a way we can spend time with Ayden?” Aunt Janice gasped, “We could invite him for dinner tonight!” Both of them smiled.

“I know both of you are excited but Ayden doesn’t know it yet. We think that something happened to him after the k********g, he was able to remember his full name but not his family. He doesn’t even recognize Uncle Ace even though he looks exactly like him!” I told them.

“Your right sweet pea, as much as we want you to spend time with Ayden but we have to be sure first before giving him too much information. Ayden is still associate with the Rogues who attacked the last time, we don’t know anything about him yet.” My father told us, he was right even though Ayden is my Mate he’s still connected with the attacks which may bring trouble to the pack.

“We understand” They looked down as my father killed their excitement.

“Well it doesn’t have to be everyday you know? We used to hang out at your place every saturdays when we we’re kids, Damon and Ryle just got out of the fight maybe we can get together every Saturday?” I shrugged. Aunt Janice’s eyes lit up and jumped up and down. Oh! That’s a great idea!”

“Well I suppose that would work, good thinking honey” my dad winked at me and I just smiled.

I hope everything comes to place, my mate meeting his true family, only then he could be a member of the pack and we could be official mates! What could go wrong?
