Going back to everyday life was hard, what was harder was leaving Gage's house, which had in some way become more like a home than my own apartment. But the hardest was leaving Gage. His touches, kisses, and closeness were already missed though it has been mere minutes since I last saw him. Even a minute away from him didn't feel right.
Praying strength to face Ava and my first day back in college after one week of getaway- and what a getaway it was- I enter the first class. My lips tingle reminding me of the parting kiss I shared with Gage in his car when he dropped me here after parking in the reserved section of the lot to avoid prying eyes. "I'll see you in class," he'd promised as I got out of his SUV.
And now I couldn't wait for the hours to pass by till that promise came true.
