My hands were shivering in my lap. How could he do this to me? How could he let me go without even thinking twice about it? I should have mattered to him. He should have thought about me. But the harsh truth was, that he did not.  He did not care, nor did he try to find out the string that was binding him to me. He just gave me up, like there was nothing between us that he treasured. My shoulders were quivering with each sob that escaped my lips. And for some reason, there was a strange kind of pain flowing through every cell of my body. I could feel this pain in my veins, but I could not understand where this pain was coming from. It was hurting my heart the most, the same way that it hurt when I was wearing the enchanted necklace given by Christian. Suddenly I felt some pressure
