"You are going to shrug it off anyway." I muttered through my relentless need of release.
"Do you want me to shrug it off?" he asked.
I took a deep breath to calm my raging heartbeat and replied, "No."
His fingers came back to my core and rubbed the top of my c**t gently, "Then tell me why you are angry with me."
I hesitated, but then whispered,
"Because you made me your second choice."
His body stiffened but then relaxed immediately. His hand let both of mine go and came up to wipe the tears that had spilled from the corner of my eyes without my knowledge.
"Are you talking about my talk with Ava that I told you about?" he asked softly.
