“We might be there in another hour or so,” I said, and James took a deep breath. I was sure he was tired. “Go home, James…” I instructed.
“Sir… Mrs. Scarlett Devereux is borderline frantic about you and your wife being late,” he explained, and I pinched the bridge of my nose, while Sienna looked up, noticing my worry lines.
Sienna lifted her hand and snatched my phone from me. “James, we will get there when we get there… You go home and rest, and as for my sister…” she paused, “tell her to f**k off.”
She pressed the red button to finish the call and then handed me my phone back.
