CHAPTER 21 ( Catching colds)

The next morning, Sunday, they wake up early and wear thick jackets as they feel the coldness of the weather. Winter opened the window of Sky's room.At the virtual world last night Nimrod returned first to the real world and after 30 minutes Azure and Amethyst also went back to the real world.
"Snow!" Winter said as she amazed on what she was seeing. The road is full of snow, and the beautiful trees around their house have become white because of snow.
"That's why, I'm getting cold," Sky said, and whipped his nose using a handkerchief.
Winter turned to him, "Aren't you used to the cold?"
"I think yes, look at me," Sky said, sniffing.
His nose is a bit red because of its cold. Winter chuckled as she saw Sky's like that.
"Reindeer is that you?" Winter chuckled.
Sky smirked, "How about you?"
"Forget it, I guess you love snow, why do I wonder Winter is your name," he exclaimed.
Winter chuckled and approached him, "But your skin is still warm though,"
"I already told you I was born when there were strong winds and blizzards," she explained.
"I didn't know that, or maybe, I just don't remember," he said, trying to remember what Winter said.
"It's okay, in those days, you were still cold to me, and we always quarreled," she said.
"I'm sorry for being-" Sky mumbled.
"It's fine, past is past," Winter smiled.
She touched his arm and felt his warmth. She stared at him and she could see his reddish nose. He is a handsome reindeer by chance.
"Hey cute reindeer," she teased, and wrapped her hands around his neck.
Sky look at her and spoke, "Don't tease me Winter,"
"Kiss?" Winter pouted her lips.
"I want but, you might catch my cold," Sky said.
"Hmm?" Winter still pouted her lips.
Sky can't resist her cuteness. It attempts him and he can't refuse it either. Sky gave her a smack kiss. He did not want to infect it with his cold.
"Hey, that's too fast?" Winter jokes and releases her hands to its neck.
"Stay here, I just made coffee, and I'll take medicine too okay?" she said, and left his room fast.
Sky sat on his bed and thought about what happened earlier. If he just didn't have a cold, he would have kissed it. He looked out the window that Winter had opened earlier. It was positioned at the head of Sky's bed. There are small pieces of snow falling from the sky. Winter's name really suits her because she really looks like winter, white and pure.
After 10 minutes, Winter returned to Sky's room carrying the Tray of soup, water, coffee, and medicine together.
She smiled and put it at his side table, "Sorry, it took a while, I tried to cook soup,"
"Really?" Sky asked. He looked at the white soup with vegetables and it looked delicious.
"I searched online, and it's my first time cooking that," she smiled.
"Let me eat that," he said, and took the bowl from the tray.
"Be careful, it's still hot," she warned.
He dips the spoon sideways into the soup at the near edge of the bowl, then skim from the front of the bowl to the back. Sip from the side of the spoon. When he finally tasted it, he almost vomited, but he swallowed the salty soup because Winter was smiling at him while watching him eat.
"Are you okay?" Winter worried me.
"Yeah, I'm fine, delicious," he was forced to smile.
"Really?" Winter said she can't believe that she can cook now.
"Yeah," Sky smiled, and drank plenty of water.
"I think I will learn and cook other foods. What about risotto? Or, or, maybe, Duck Pâté en Croûte?" she exclaimed, joyfully.
Sky forcedly smiled and spoke "Yes, you.. you can cook that,"
Should I teach her to cook? She evenly chose the difficult food to cook, and the soup she cooked was too salty, it tastes just like salty water.
"Hey, Sky, are you okay?" Winter asked, worriedly.
"Yes, I'm fine, totally fine," he said.
"Later, I will suggest to your Mom, I'll cook for lunch," she said, smiling.
"Don't!"
"I mean, Mom ordered food already," he excused.
"Well, okay, what food is it?" Winter asked.
"Ahh, roasted chicken," he said.
"Really? That's my favorite. What brand?" she asked.
Sky sigh on his mind. He thought it would make her mad.
"Roastetú," he said.
"Really, but, I think that's pretty expensive for our lunch?"
"No, it's fine," he said. He took the tablet medicine from the table and drank it with water.
"Rest for a while, I will go first to the mall near here," Winter suggested.
"I'll go with you," Sky said.
"No, I'm fine, stay here and rest," she said.
"I just have something to buy," she added.
She will buy a gift for Sky's upcoming birthday.
"Okay then, but, let me accompany you outside of our apartment." he requested.
"Sure, I'll just get dressed," she said, and took the tray of the soup and she left the coffee on Sky's table. Winter quickly wears mom jeans, crop top shirt, and rubber shoes.
After that, she entered the room again.
"Good, don't wear shorts or a skirt without me," he said, and stood up from sitting.
"Of course," she answered.
Sky brought Winter out of their apartment. He went inside again and laid down to rest.
Winter took a taxi and quickly reached the mall. She immediately went straight to the men's boutique, which looked luxurious. The floor was surrounded by many shelves for expensive perfume, watches, and many more. This store layout comprises curves and angles to give off a sophisticated vibe.
"Hello, Ma'am," Sales lady said, greeting her.
"Hello, I'm looking for a digital watch," Winter said.

"Oh wow, I'll take the blue one," she said.
"Okay Ma'am," Sales lady smiled.
The sales lady took it and put it in the box. While they were still arranging it, Winter went for a walk with the perfumes first. She saw the couple perfume there, and it has a tester, so she sprayed it on her left wrist.
"Vanilla essence," she said and took it. her perfume will also run out.
She approached the sales lady to pay for the perfume and the digital watch.
"Miss, I'll buy the same watch, red," the man from her behind suddenly said.
She quickly turned to it, "Abigor?"
It was Abigor, "Hey,"
"What are you doing here alone?" Abigor asked.
"Ah, just buying," she answered.
Sales lady spoke, "Ma'am here it is, 1,246.35usd,"
Winter had enough money to buy that digital watch, aside from her Dad always giving her a huge allowance per month and she also had a job for a publishing book company. So money is easy for her.
She turned to her and handed her credit card "Here,"
"That's expensive," Abigor said.
"Yes, yet you buy it too," Winter said.
"I've been planning to buy that since yesterday," he said.
"I guess everyone wants to buy it, it is the new trend," Winter said.
Sales lady handed the gold bag for expensive digital watches to her. This digital watch is worth it to buy for sure.
"Free bag Ma'am, free light, and free pastel watch inside for you Ma'am," Sales lady smiled.
"Wow, thank you," Winter smiled back.
"Yes Ma'am, since our store officially launched it," Sales lady explained while staring at Winter's face. For her, she is so gorgeous and the man on her back is also handsome.
"I need to go, hopefully, you and Sky talk as soon as possible," Winter said and smiled at Abigor.
She was about to walk when Abigor stopped her because he held it in her arm, but not tightly.
"Tell Sky, we will meet again," Abigor smirked and let it go his hand.
"Okay, I will," she said.
She tried to hide the shock from her face as Abigor touched her left arm. She walked away fast as she finally reached the door from the shop.
"What's with him? He surprised me," she sigh.
Abigor smirked while waiting at his digital watch.
"Looks like Winter got me," Abigor smirked.
