CHAPTER 4 (lustrous sharp village√)

When they enter the dimensional world. Their bodies were left in Sky's room and their mind went to the engaging virtual world. A thalamus gear not only simulates sight and sound, it also stimulates taste, smell and even touch. In other words, it can completely immerse players in a virtual world. However, its true potential lies within the fact that it doesn't just send virtual sensations to the user. It intercepts and manipulates the signals sent by the user's brain for it to take them into the virtual world. They proceed to the land of the lustrous sharp village. The villager of this little village is called Swordsman. Almost everyone here spends time sharpening their swords to protect them from the threat of danger brought by the risk of creatures and opponents. However, there are only a few women here. The place is like an old era where there were households and establishments on both sides of the road. The houses are made of old red bricks and lumber. They came across a cluster of people as if they were watching a fight. They even walked closer to what they were looking at. Even the road is very narrow because of the number of villagers watching. This is the battle against Swordsman and Elf with huge, unique rock hammered. Some people said they saw them together, and they were friends, but the swordsman betrayed her by stealing her three stars. Elves are known for their speed; they can raise their hammered shield to block all incoming ranged basic attacks and projectiles. The elves have a place called the Land of the compact. They are also players, each individual player can choose what character they want. Sky knows a lot about RPG games. All he had to do was associate himself and apply what he was doing when he was just playing it on the PC. He evenly knows a lot of techniques. But this game has been upgraded and improved. It looks more realistic. Their hidden power remains concealed as of now. It will come out at the right time. Sky and Winter have only one star, because they haven't fought yet or been given a task. Tasks also have points when they do it right. Some tasks are easy, others are difficult. Sky knows a lot about RPG.. That was one of his advantages in the game. Battles, even skirmishes, are extremely chaotic and confusing. Sometimes, the game planned it, sometimes not. A player can steal another player's star when they get a potion found in hidden places. By putting the sorbere potion in their equipment. It gained strength by absorbing its energy about ten percent. There are many sorbere potions here in the game. It is difficult to find. When the duel started he slightly pulled Winter away and stood a few feet apart to keep Winter out of trouble. Her brows raised and pulled together because she was still nervous. She has no experience in fighting, especially when it looks real. A square line suddenly draws and lights up the ground. immersed the two players against each other. That means the battle was a single combat, the first person to be kicked out of the podium loses and the winner will take five percent of the player star. There are different star colors depending on the player ranking. White, brown, blue, red, silver, and the highest is gold. The battle between swordsman and hammered Elf starts. Anger erupted between the two of them. They are like a Lion in a tight cage. The swordsman attacked first, clenching his jaw, and plunged his sharp sword. But Elf manages to escape the plunging of his sword. Elf lips stretched so tightly over teeth they seemed to disappear because of her anger. A blazing fire engulfed inside the elf's heart. They entered the game together, and they had the same intention, but everything changed for the greed of the swordsman. "Basic attack," he said, seriously. Crossing his arm together while still looking at the two players fighting on the podium. Winter turned to him for what he had said. People around there are also talking about the battle. “Elf, surely win the battle.” he said. Winter suddenly wondered, how did he say that? even though the elf's score was reduced because the swordsman stole it. "Why?" she asked, confused. "Well, never use too much energy in basic attack…" "There's a chance that your mana will be depleted immediately, and it may not hit the opponent." he explained. Winter looks at the swordsman again. She pursed her lips. Sky was correct. The swordsman's energy reduced half now they are equal. "You're right." The glowing appreciation on her face shone brighter than the glowing star. Sky is superb and passionate about this game. Everything it said was right. Sky smiled slightly and put his arm around Winter's back to bring it closer to him. The reason she started blushing. After a few more minutes of reckless fight. The deep cut through the elf arm ends the battle. The fire started from the depths of Elf self-control. It no longer suppressed the successive strike of her hammered. The swordsman crashed into the road because of the impact of a hammered rock hitting his back and the tip of his foot crossed outside from the podium line. Sky made no mistake in what he said earlier: the hammered Elf won. Its score is back to normal. Her star was restored again. This powerful energy core endows the Elf tiny frame with the ability to discharge massive Bursts of force, even allowing her to control a giant hammer without struggling. So she released a strong passive burst. Winter marvels at its show technique. When the fight was over the villagers left and went back to what they were doing. The square line vanished. Everything is back to normal. The swordsman left behind at the place of the battle a while ago. Her former friend left him with a sweet smile of success. You can see the Traces of defeat on the swordsman's face. He is now lying down and just staring at the blue sky. "What happened to him?" Winter asked. The wind blew through her snow-blue hair and her face was even brighter than the sun. She fixed a few strands of her hair that hit her face. "I'll talk to him, stay there," Sky said. He was about to walk when Winter stopped him. She was afraid that the swordsman seemed out of his mind because of the defeat earlier. She grabbed Sky's arm to stop it from walking. "W-wait…” He turned around and looked at her hand holding his arm. Sky smiled at it and held the hand that held him back. “Don't be afraid.” he said seriously. Sky held her soft hand “Let's walk together.” Winter was a little taken aback by what he did to her. Sky seemed to know exactly what to do. She nodded and smiled slightly. They both walked closer to where the swordsman was lying. It has very little energy. Sky let go of Winter's hand. "Stay behind me..." he seriously said, before facing the poor swordsman. It went behind him as it said. It seemed as if the surroundings were dark as Sky's shadow blocked the light of the white cloud. It frowned slightly as Sky blocked the beautiful view. Swordsman stood up and sat down on the road. Now he's facing Sky and Winter. "What else are you doing here?" he said, irritatedly. Winter tilted her face more to see the Swordsman. Her forehead furrowed because of his rude appearance. "Hey! Jerk, stop this nonsense act!" she said, hysterically. Swordsman frowned at what Winter had said. Winter feels the swordsman is too jealous of everything, so it leads to the use of sorbere potion. She's been puzzled, there seems to be something strange about it. Sky let out a fake cough to stop the two from arguing. It may even cause a fight. Winter doesn't like rude people, no matter how modest she is. Winter still doesn't want men to criticize women like her, as he did to his former elves friend. "Don't you feel guilty for what you did to your friend?" Sky said, seriously. Sky ash-brown eyes gleamed. The swordsman laughed like an evil opponent. Winter was annoyed. It does not seem to have done anything wrong on what he showed. Sky's smirked, noticing its laugh is just fake. "Betrayal is the only truth that sticks." Swordsman stopped laughing after hearing that word. It drew its sword to its right side. Winter was caught in Sky's arm because of what it did. He lowered the sword to the ground and slowly shed tears in his eyes. Sky knew it was just a coward and was afraid of being left behind. So he did not hesitate to approach it earlier. "Why are you still fighting when you know you've already lost?" Sky seriously said. "Just in the part where you swap your friend for points. you've already lost," he added. Swordsman looked away from the sight of his tears. Even he did not want to hear the truth he had already heard. Sky tapped her shoulder, Winter now sees the true identity of the swordsman in front of the two of them. "You still have one point, you can start again…" Winter removed his hand from holding Sky's arm. Before, they turned their backs on the swordsman and walked away from there.
