CHAPTER 7 (Mysterious savior√)

1604 Words
The forest where she was at the time was completely dark. As she runs, you can hear the crisp, withered leaves on the ground. Before she came to a halt, it went through numerous towering trees. She saw the man had been holding a longsword in his left hand. Her heart stopped beating for a little while, and tears streamed down her cheeks. Sky… That was the first thing that came to her mind because she could not mention its name. "Amethyst," he whispered. When he saw the woman in front of him, his nervousness dissipated. He rushed over to it and held it tightly out of worry. "I'm sorry," he responded brusquely. "Can you tell me if anything hurts?" She said, "No, I'm OK." He's back slightly wet with tears. He felt its fear because she had no fighting experience yet. Amethyst hugged him back. She stopped crying and smiled. "I was so scared," she sobbed. "I know, I know, I shouldn't remove my eyes on you. Sorry." "No. That's not it. I'm lack of experienced. But I promise. I will never cry about another upcoming battle." She promised — she even raised her hand to show how confident she was. Azure smiled. "You don't have to force yourself. Besides, this is only just the beginning." He wiped her tears away from both eyes. Azure's face was seen up close, with its pointed nose, hazel-colored eyes, and reddish lips.. That was warm and passionate. Expressing how much he worried through his deep kiss. After a few minutes, they stopped, and he wiped the remaining tears from her eyes. "Let's practice tomorrow, okay?" he suggested. "Yes, we should." She's delighted to see Azure safe. He was so breathtaking when she saw it jump from the back of the opponent earlier. "So, what happened to the land creature?" She asked. He grinned as he said, "It's gone, completely gone." "Is that true?" "How?" she asked again. "Don't worry, I've known about its weaknesses since the very beginning," he stated. "What is it? " "Above its trachea," He smiled. "Basically, the throat." A smile reached her eyes when she heard the monster was gone. "Aside of that, here's your chain," They moved away from each other, so he could get Amethyst's chain behind him. "Oh, thank you," She remembered she had left it because that man had saved her. Azure handed the long chain to her. She grabbed it and adjusted it to her cuirass. "Let's go back to the village." … Meanwhile, the mysterious man ran, accelerating his pace with each sprint. He grinned as he jumped up and down steep trees, and he proceeded to jump over enormous tree branches. "Here they are," he said with a curled lip. "Now the real battle begins," he smirked as he began to bounce on the limbs of large trees in the dark of night. … The distance between the door and where they stood in the middle of the room was considerable. They walked in through the door and into the room they had rented for the night. He began, "I'm sure you're tired." She asked, "Yeah, let's sleep?" He walked up to the tiny table next to their bed and sat down. He said, "Yeah, change your clothes first." As he turned his back on Amethyst, he bent slightly and examined the contents of the cabinets. Amethyst can use the nightgown that is hanging in there. He swiftly snatched it up and turned to face her. His eyes became wider seeing Amethyst's body. She was busy removing her upper garment near their bed. It stopped undressing when she saw Azure staring at her, who quickly turned away. "Azure," Her soft voice called him. "Continue dressing first," he exclaimed. He could not look at her because that was all she was wearing. Her upper body was covered only by her light blue bra, while the lower part was covered by her metallic belt and skirts. "Look at me," "W-what, get dressed," he commanded. "Come on, my armored belt is stuck," she complained. He was anxious because of what was happening. He immediately reached for her nightgown while still turning his back. Amethyst had already taken the nightgown she was reaching for. When he heard that, He quickly addressed it, seeing her light blue bra. He looked out the window to avoid looking at her. "Don't be silly, besides, you've seen it before, right?" she complained. "I know but… It's different now," "Huh?" He slowly faced her and gulped. Amethyst smirked, because it was so cute as he was embarrassed staring at her body. She turned around to let him fix her warrior belt that stuck to something. "You're acting like a child, Azure," she teased. She laughed slightly because of the redness on its face earlier. "Me? Acting like a child?" he chuckled. "Yes, you do, Azure," "Really?" Her belt was stuck over the small wire. He quickly removed the wire which clung to its belts. When he removed the barrier from its belt Amethyst immediately faced him. "Oh? Why are you so serious?" She was confused. "Can a child do this?" "H-huh?" she stepped back It seemed she was wrong teasing him. It quickly grabbed her back from her tiny waist. She stepped slightly backwards because of what it did. She seemed electrified when his palm touched her naked back. "See," Azure smirked. "Okay, fine, you're not child anymore," Her heartbeat quickened again because of her nervousness and because they were close to each other. "Okay, can you let me go now?" her chin is trembling. "What if I don't want to?" he said seriously. Now he was the one who's teasing her "W-wait, what? Stop joking! Azure," she pissed. "Can I kiss you again?" he asked. Every time he looked at her, every single thing became slow motion. They can be compared to fire and ice. She was ice, and he was burning fire. One glimpse of her ignites her stone-cold ice. The heat of his body melts the frozen part of her body. She walks through flames just to feel his warmth. Her eyes gleamed, and she looked down. Before she answered his questions, "Is that still being asked?" "Then, I guess," He released the grip on its waist. Then it lifted her chin gently. He looked at her as if she was the only star in his darkest night. She kissed her as if their air filled her lungs. She keeps kissing her while walking backward to its bed. They both lay down without interrupting their kiss. Both wanted to explode their feelings because of what had happened. Amethyst could not deny that she shuddered at what it did. He was on top of her while she was lying on the bed. They stared at each other before Azure stood up and sat on the side of their bed. "Sorry… you need to rest and sleep," He restrained himself from doing that. It's not the right time and the right place to do it. He was too hasty at that moment—Fortunately he stopped. She got up from lying down and touched Azure's shoulder. "Are you okay?" She's worried. "Yes, go to sleep, I'll just change," he blurted. He swiftly stood up from sitting on their bed and walked. But before it could get away, it stopped walking . "I just don't want to rush things," he articulated. It continued walking and entered the restroom. Amethyst was caught in her chest for the speed of its heartbeat. Her face was absolutely blushing while biting one's lip. She couldn't hide the smile and embarrassment on her face because of what happened. Azure respects her so much, even if they have already done it once. "Argh, that was so embarrassing!" she blurted. "Why did I undress in this room?" She was talking to herself. It did not know if she would be shuddered or ashamed. She stomped her foot twice and lay down on the bed next to the nightgown she was going to wear. Meanwhile Azure just washed his face because he has no replacement for his garments. He stared at himself in the mirror — Tomorrow will be their first one-on-one training. It will be a few hours and they will return to the real world because they only have three hours left here. They did not know that their score had been raised significantly. It is no joke that Azure killed the Land creature as a beginner. Perhaps he has a lot of knowledge at this game—They had many players with them earlier who scored even higher than them—but did nothing to kill the opponent earlier. When Azure exited the restroom door. He immediately approached Amethyst, who was already asleep. It is already dressed and sounds1 asleep while her face still looks like a beautiful doll. Its thick and long lashes, sharp and small nose, and its plump lips are naturally pink. He sat on the edge of that bed and watched it sleeping. Remembering the man who saved Amethyst in the middle of the fight earlier. Its gesture seems familiar yet he's sure that the mysterious man is an assassin. "I don't think I can lose you anymore, Amethyst," he said softly. He gently stroked her soft cheek. Her pearl white skin glows when the lights from the ceiling reflect to its face. The name Winter suits her very well. Perhaps, she looks like snow falling soundlessly in the middle of the night will always fill his heart with a sweet clarity.
