Jonah wondered just how he was supposed to hold Vera's questions at bay for three hours while Terrence and Reena drove to Colerain Place.
But it seemed that Vera was content to sit in silence. She looked like she would scream if she opened her mouth. Jonah joined her on the couch, but out of respect, left space between them.
