"How many times child do I have too tell you. We have to get you settled with your uncle Aegeus and your still not dressed." Momma walked in my room mad as always.

Stunned I turned to her "But momma why must I go why can't I stay here with you and father!"I yelled.

She sighed, then came to sit on the edge of my bed. "Son I hope you understand what your life will be. I understand you want to stay with us but we must follow the family rule. You know what your power holds and you must learn to control it don't you sweetie."

"I understand mother but why won't you come and live with us. I could have both of you close to me and we could all live together with uncle Aegeus." I looked at my mom with hopeful eyes.

She got off the bed and walked to my closet and picked out the only clothing that she had left there for me the rest was in my luggage.

"Oh how I wish it could be like that but there will be other kids around your age and I'm sure it wouldn't be fair for us to be there while the other parents aren't." She handed me my clothes.

"Now tell me son, your father spoke to me about the dreams you've been having. Wouldn't you want to know the explanation of your dreams, the meaning behind them." She smiled.

"Well of course momma it's been something that's on my mind lately, sometimes, mother I feel some kind of energy like I'm flying in the sky or something, other nights well there completely different more darker." I tell her knowing if I say more I might scare her.

There are things that are almost to dark that I wish upon no one to ever see or even hear. She's also right, maybe I do belong with my uncle and the other members of the family secret. I always wanted answers maybe it's time I finally get them.

"Of course this is why you must go with your uncle and meet the other kids like you. Now my son get dressed, I'll make sure your luggage and things are brought downstairs." She gave me a kiss on the cheek and left out the door.

We finally arrived to the place I'll spend most of my training. A few minutes back we had driven by the whole town of Creekview, it was decent looking, you could tell it was small and maybe peaceful.

I could see why The Velmonte chose this place to be our destination. It looks like something out of a movie.

My family is wealthy, but this place was nothing like what I'm used to seeing in America maybe trips to Europe but never here. We drove by a cluster of huge trees until we stopped by a huge gate that was probably left opened because there where others coming today. We drove on a stone road until the rest was just a dirt road.

"Well would you look at that, it looks great to me Landon, looks like we could walk the rest of the way." Father says and looks back at me and so does my mother.

Mother glances at me "Honey take that worried look of your face you will be fine." She laughs.

Father is already out of the car and my mom follows. Mother waves to me to get out of the car. The air was cool and brisk.

I stared at the trees and the leaves that keep falling from the sky. "Alright everyone, let's go." My father says. Mother and I follow behind him. I don't think I'm ready for this but at the same time I need answers I want to know what I hold and what my peers will hold. Longing to know what kind of powers we have.

I follow my father until we come to a sudden stop. We looked at the huge lake which is accompanied by an Enormous home. As I take in the view I realize its beautiful especially with so many trees, I begin thinking I might like this place.

We made it to the front of the house, my uncle was already outside, he was reading something. I've met him before at family gatherings, He's really cool to me, my family members on the other hand hated the fact that he got the lake house in his name but it's part of the rules.

My father didn't want the lake house so it was left to my uncle, in my opinion I'm glad he got it, I always thought my uncle was way more smarter then most of my family, all they care about is riches, popularity in the royal families , books, travel, but uncle chose nature.

It's Pretty cool if you ask me, I could spend my free time reading all my favorite Dc comics, especially the joker, one of my favorite comics, even though he is bad, or maybe go to different parts of the world and see the pyramids, I could play with the sand and make giant sand castles.

I'm broken from my thoughts as uncle approaches us.

"Well hello brother" then he turns to mother "Elizebeth." Uncle Aegeus says hugging my father and mother.

Turning He stops as he stares at me "Landon bud, how you been excited to be here." He says amusement in his eyes. I laugh at him "Just nervous Uncle Aggy." He reaches for a hug.

"Don't worry son the others are here and their ready to meet you, I'm sure you guys will get along great." He smiles and faces my father.

"Big bro hows it going." He laughs.

It's funny how Uncle talks to father as if they where young, I mean Uncle Aegeus is only 20 years old meaning he was the baby of the family But still I enjoy how he speaks to my father.

"Your still the same old Aegeus talkative like always." Fathers says. "Oh brother just give me a hug." Father and him hug it out making jokes with each other while Mother and I walk inside.

"Wow mom the place is massive" I tell her, she laughs and looks around.

We both walk into what looks like a living room, huge white walls, flat screen tv

"I don't know Lan but I'm going to guess your uncle decorated the place." We both giggle.

"Well I will leave you to it I'm going to go check out what your father and uncle are doing okay honey." She laughs and walks away.

I look around the hug living room with big windows and a fire place.

"Pretty cool." I say out loud to myself looking around, I come upon a stack of books laying on the floor.

"Yeah pretty cool right." I turn around. A boy who's about 3 years older then me, with brown shaggy hair and brown eyes walks into the living room with a Blonde girl around the same age as him and another Blonde boy who looks about my age.

"Hey," the boy walks to me "I'm Jones." he puts out his hand in front of him and I shake it. "Hey Im Riley and this is my brother Raider." She points at the boy next to her I shake both of there hands.

"Hey you like superheroes" Raider says to me.

"Of course what's your favorite universe." I tell him.

I'm so happy theirs someone here I can talk to about my favorite things "I like DC, I also like marvel too but I just think joker and Batman are so cool." He laughs. "Jokers my favorite DC villain." We both laugh and start talking about the comics.

Jones and Riley join in, I learned that Jones and Riley are both ten and Raider and I are both eight years old.

"I see you all are getting along." My mother says walking in with Uncle Aegeus and father.

"That's great" Aegeus says while he walks up to Jones and high fives him.

"Well I guess because Landon's settled we will be leaving now." Father says sadness in his eyes.

I walk up to my father and hug him "Daddy I'll miss you." He bends down eye level.

"You listen to your Uncle, you heard me son and no matter what" he whispers so only I could hear him "trust your friends but most importantly watch yourself not everything is what it seems." He hugs me and let's go He walks up to my uncle as they both leave the room.

"Oh son, my boy is growing up" she pulls out a watch, it was gold and really cool, it had some words I didn't understand and it was black on the inside of the clock.

She hands me the watch "When your older this will fit you, it was your fathers, great grandfather he too was in your position it's, been passed down to every male with the gift."

She hugged me with tears in her eyes "you know I love you right Landon." She lets go and faces Jones, Riley, and Raider "You guys take care of each other and be strong okay, promise me you will take care of my son and you son you must take care of them too, you guys are family now." She smiled at all of us "yes ma'am" they all said.

She gave me one more hug before she left.

When mom and dad left I cried so much my eyes were red. Jones, Riley, and Raider where going threw the same thing as me, after we all made each other feel better I felt like I had siblings, I always wanted a sibling.

Uncle was really cool he cooked and we played games before he talked about the Volmente and our schedule. Uncle Aggy said that it's to early to explain everything and that when the time is right we will learn what are gifts are.

The Volmente had set some rules that we must follow. Uncle Aggy let us know that we will go to public school but after school and every Saturday will learn how to fight, shoot guns, languages, and magic, everythings pretty cool.

Uncle Aggy showed us where are rooms we're everyone had big rooms. I can't wait to put my action figures up on display, making sure uncle Aggy does it for me. I unpacked my clothing made sure everything was perfect and in there place. Changing into my pjs I slide into bed, sleep is the only thing I needed right now.
