Marinettes Point of View
-
Well, I finally got to meet Rena Rouge. I was impressed. I saw her flying across Paris and decided to follow her. She led me here.
"Where were you?" Chat asked me.
"That's for me to know and you to never find out." I replied because if I told him then he would know that I was Marinette. "Well," I said, suddenly remembering something. "The place where I went did get me a little banged up, so I might not be able to fight or do my duties as well, so can you guys cut me some slack for a few months?" I was suddenly relieved that Rena Rouge arrived, she could help fill my place for a while. And by 'banged up' I meant pregnant. What a funny choice of words.
"Sure! Since I'm here, I could help and take up some of your duties!" Rena Rouge said cheerfully.
"Yeah." I agreed with her. "Anyways, I gotta buzz, so, bug out!" I used my yo-yo to swing off the roof and back towards my home. I landed gracefully on top and went inside, giving me time to think about the recent events that had taken place.
-Flashback-
I was out on my balcony, looking out over Paris. The stars were out, twinkling in the night. I suddenly was spun around and my lips came into contact with someone else's. I immediately knew who it was.
"Go away, Adrien." I said, pushing him away. He was now Chat Noir, so I guess I should call him that. "I mean Chat Noir." I corrected myself only because someone might be watching.
He chuckled and pulled me closer to him. "Please let me in your life." He whispered so only I could here.
I help up my phone which had the picture of Adrien and Chloe making out displayed on it.
"No." I said as sweetly as I could manage.
"I can explain." He pushed the phone down. "She pulled me aside and forced me to kiss her. I had nothing to do with it, honest. Forgive me?" He said, trying to make himself as believable as possible.
"No." I said flatly. "A few questions if I may. One, if the kiss was against your will, then why did it last so long. And two, why does it look like you're enjoying it?" He pulled up the phone and looked at the picture. "Just go, and while you are away, try and face the fact that you are not a part of my life anymore. It's too late for you to apologize. So leave." I said and snapped my fingers and pointed out to the Eiffel Tower. Thankfully, he obeyed and went away.
-Flashback End-
"Tikki, I don't know what to do." I told the kwami who was floating next to me.
"What do you mean?" She thought a moment. "If your talking about Rena Rouge, then I can sense that she's a miraculous holder like you."
"That's reassuring." I said, "But I'm not talking about her."
"Oh." Tikki said, floating down onto my covers. "Then what are you talking about?"
"You know what." I looked over at her. She shook her head. I sighed. "I'm talking about Chat Noir, or, Adrien. I still don't know what to call him!" I tried to keep my voice low so Mom wouldn't come up.
"Simple," she started. "Use Adrien so it's less suspicious for anyone listening because they'd be confused if you say you have a love life with one of Paris's superhero's. But when he is Chat Noir, call him Chat Noir."
"Thank you for that, Tikki." I told the kwami. She nodded her head. "Names aren't the biggest problems I face with him. Onto problem number two!"
"How many problems are there?" Tikki asked me.
"Enough." I answered. "Anyways, problem two. Should I reveal myself to him?" I turned to the kwami.
"Ummm... what do you think?"
"I think that it's only fair that I reveal myself to him since he revealed himself to me, even if he didn't think he revealed himself to Ladybug. But, as a counterclaim-"
"You have a counterclaim?" Tikki said kind of boringly.
"Every good argument does, Tikki." I said to the little kwami, and gently stroked her tiny head. "Now where was I? Oh yes, the counterclaim! If I revealed myself to him, then I would loose my bond with him because he would stay attached to me in both forms. Right now I can hang out with him without having to pull away from him and be uncomfortable around him. I also think that he would be disappointed that it was me, not the strong women he thinks Ladybug is under the mask." I tried to fit all of my thoughts on the problem in my little speech.
"Okay, well, I say you don't reveal yourself to him for now and continue having a partner you enjoy being around. And he wouldn't be disappointed that it was you."
"Okay then." I smiled at the kwami. "Last problem, problem number three!" I looked into her eyes. "Do I let Adrien back into my life? He seems like he wants to be in it, but he has hurt me and I don't know if he's as sincere as he says he is and if he'll hurt me again."
"What do you mean, 'as sincere as he says he is'?" Tikki asked me.
"He says that he will never lose me and that he loves me."
"I think that you should follow your gut on this one." Tikki told me.
"My gut is the one that's pushing him away." I told her.
"Well then, he's probably up to no good. So follow your gut."
"Okay." A thought came to my mind. "Why does Jessica trust him?"
"That I cannot tell you. You'll have to ask her tomorrow at school."
"Uggh, I hate school! It should be a Friday tomorrow, not a Thursday!"
"You need school. But I have to agree with you on that last part. Today did feel like Thursday."
"Ah, Tikki, my voice of reason." We both laughed, and shortly after, went to bed.
