L U C A 'S P . O. V We're having a baby. Those are the four words I've repeated more times than I could count these past few months. Lola was glowing. Her eyes lit up everytime she felt the baby kick, or placed her hand over her small round bump. She was smiling constantly, and her vibrant energy transmitted to the rest of the pack. I didn't know it was possible to feel so at peace. Yet, I have everything anyone could possibly want and more. That makes me scared too. I always fear and plan for the worst, never letting comfort and happiness blind me from the harsh reality. My world resides within one being at the moment; Lola and our child. That meant Lola had a target on her back like never before and it was harder for her to protect herself now since it's difficult to shift. I
