The first term had finally ended and they were getting their results, Noelle was happy when she saw that she got ninety percent but her happiness vanished immediately she saw that Justin got seventy percent, so she went over to meet him. Hey, J. you okay? Noelle asked with concern "Yeah, why," Justin responded.
"Nothing, I just heard you got seventy percent"
"It's no big deal"
"It is and I'm gonna make sure you do better next time, okay?"
"Okay"
"Bye Justin"
"Bye Noelle"
The second term wasn't going to resume for another two weeks so the students had time to prepare and engage themselves in other things. During the holiday Noelle received a call from an unknown number.
Hello? Sorry who's this, Noelle questioned Am I speaking to Noelle, the voice answered.

"Justin? Where and how did you get my number," Noelle asked "Long story, I just called to check on you since we're resuming very soon," Justin replied "Oh alright, what about you," Noelle asked. "I'm doing great," Justin replied
They chatted for a while and then felt it was time to say goodbye. "Ok, talk to you later, Love you," Justin said "Hate you," Noelle replied. Justin chuckled a little and Noelle said bye.
A week later, the second term resumption commenced and the day they resumed, a lot of people were running about, laughing and chit-chatting. As Noelle entered the class, she bumped into Eric. "Hey baby girl," Eric said "Hey..........." Noelle replied with uneasiness as she remembered the promise she made to Justin. "Everything alright?" Eric asked "Yeah, just tensed for the second term, nerves I guess?" Noelle answered.
"Don't worry about it, you're gonna be great anyways I gotta go so I'll see you later?" Eric asked Yeah, bye, Noelle said finally glad to have ended the conversation without Justin seeing her. As she kept moving, she wondered why she cared about how Justin feels, it's not like she likes him, Okay that's a lie, you like him, her subconscious reminded her. She sighed outwardly and wished in her head that Justin liked her too.
