Remington's POV- I expected to be submerged into the blank nothingness I believed to be waiting for me when I passed out and ultimately succumbed to the blood loss. I had assumed that there would be nothing to greet me after death. No picturesque field, no celestial beings, no sense of peace, and least of all, no family.
