Remington’s POV-
A little while later, Renatus and Raclaus finally emerged from the room together. I was still settled on Izmel’s lap when they came out so they settled on the other end of the couch together. It was nice to see them close again, and watching the way they made sure to keep some point of contact between them made my eyes water slightly. Raclaus had implied that there was problems between them causing a rift before I came into their lives, but I still carried so much guilt for separating them. Being able to see their spark rekindled in the light of our markings last night lifted a weight off my chest.
