The Dinner

The sunlight was peeking in through the windows when Andrea stirred in her sleep and Blake sleeping peacefully beside her.Last night after she came back home she had discussed everything that happened with Blake and even told him about the dinner proposed by Caleb. Blake could not find anything suspicious in all this and normally suggested her to do whatever she's comfortable with.Even Andrea was getting okay with the idea that maybe two people can actually look alike how long can she ignore the facts that lay right infront of her eyes.Everything shows the facts that Caleb and Adam are two different people and also the fact that everything about Caleb Hooper seems different then that of Adam Michael. They give out a different vibe as well. So she decided to go with the flow of things and thought maybe this was all in her head and nothing else.

She got up from the bed making sure not to make a sound as Blake was still sleeping like a baby and made her way to the bathroom. She took care of her needs and when she came out of the washroom she found Blake was still asleep.She decided to make some breakfast and then wake him up.She knew how much Blake loved her pancakes and decided to go and make some. She got herself a cup of coffee and started whisking the battar for pancakes when Blake entered the kitchen. He was rubbing his eyes with his hair messy and Andrea thought to herself how cute her boyfriend was looking. He came around the corner and Andrea couldn't help herself but kiss him.

Blake whispered "Good morning baby"

Andrea smiled and replied "Good morning love go get fresh I'm making your favourite pancakes for breakfast."

As soon as she said that Blake's eyes lit up like a child who just got his favourite candy and gave her a quick peck before making his way to the ensuite bathroom.

Andrea made and served the pancakes on the dining table and headed to fridge to grab some juice when Blake came out of the room all dressed up in formal clothings.

"I'm sorry baby but I just got a call from the office regarding a meeting that is being held in Boston and one of my seniors was supposed to attend it but he's not doing well so I have to take his place at the meeting.So if I have to get there before the meeting starts I have to leave in about half an hour." Blake said

Andrea felt a little bad but she knew work comes first and this was a great opportunity for Blake and his career.They considered him to attend the meeting in the place of a senior.

She replied "It's okay I understand after all it's important and you should go but atleast have some breakfast."

Andrea was always very understanding and that made Blake love her even more he made his way to her and kissed her passionately thrusting his tongue deep inside her mouth and tasting every bit of her mouth. They had to break off the kiss in order to catch their breaths.

"So do you want juice?" Andrea asked

"Yes I would love some orange juice."

"Okay be right there. How long are you gonna be in Boston?"

"About a week. I'll try to complete the work as fast as I can so that I can return as early as possible."

"Okay. No need to rush take your time and I know you're going to do an amazing job. Just please take care of yourself because I know how get when you're busy with work you even forget about eating. Don't do that." Andrea scolded

"Okay okay I'll take care and you too take care of yourself and if anything happens just remember I'm a call away and I love you."

"I love you too." Andrea replied

Blake kisses her one last time before leaving for the airport and assured her he'll call her the moment he lands.

Andrea spent the rest of the day correcting the assignments that her students submitted. When she finally completed correcting all those she looked up at the clock and it was already 6:35 p.m and she realised that she is supposed to meet Caleb Hooper at 7p.m. She asked to meet him at the Golden Age restaurant because it is very well known restaurant and is mostly crowded and it is also near her school so makes it a lot more convenient place for her to meet him. Though she has convinced herself that Caleb is a different person but still she is not very comfortable around him so it'll be better for her to get over with this and not run into him ever again in the future.She looked at herself in the mirror she decided to go with the red off-shoulder gown which fitted her perfectly and made her look very appealing.She let her hair down. She was not really into makeup so just put on some mascara and a red lipstick. She decided to go with that look. She took her purse and headed out of the apartment.

The Golden Age restaurant was situated on the 20th floor of the Sunrise Building.Andrea stepped out of the elevator and as soon as she entered through the door a waiter approached her "Ma'am may I help you?"

"Yes actually I'm meeting Mr.Caleb Hooper here can you show me to his table please."

"Sure ma'am please follow me."

With that he led Andrea to a private cabin diner and announced her presence.The diner had black cushioned chairs with a glass table at the center and on the opposite end chair Caleb was seated. Behind him was a glass wall which offered the view of the city from the height. Caleb looked up in her direction and offered a warm smile.

"Miss Stewart you look beautiful today and thankyou for coming.Please take a seat."

"Thankyou Mr. Hooper" Andrea replied and sat down opposite him.

"Do you like red wine? I actually ordered some while I waiting."

"Yes please. Thankyou Mr.Hooper I hope I didn't make you wait too long."

"No problems.Here let me serve you so what do you wanna order?" He pushed the glass of wine towards Andrea along with the menu. Andrea took a sip of the wine while looking at the menu.The waiter took their orders and left. Within a few minutes he was back with there orders.

"So Miss Stewart I wanted to apologize for whatever happened yesterday with your student. I am sure there must have been a misunderstanding of some sort."

"It's okay Mr.Hooper I understand.Things like this happens actually I should thankyou for helping me out."

"No need to thank me Miss Stewart it was my duty to help.But I just wanted to apologize for it. I got you a little something as token of my sincerity.I hope you like it."

Caleb stood up and walked towards her with a box neatly packed with red paper in his hand and placed it infront of her.Andrea looked at the box and was about to refuse when Caleb stopped her and said "Open it first."

Andrea looked at the box and started opening it.When she opened the wrap and the lid of the box she saw there were some pictures placed in it turned over to the backside. She took the pictures and turned them over to see them. When she turned them around she saw the person she never wanted to see again in her whole life. It was the same guy she had killed four years ago. The same guy who tried to take advantage of her and kill her. It was his picture. Terror flashed over her features and she was absolutely scared with what she was seeing. She could not move could not speak she even forgot to breathe. All the memories that haunted her were flooding back and she couldn't do anything.Caleb looked at her reaction and whispered in her ears "Now now Miss Stewart you didn't really expect to me forget what you did to us now did you ?" Andrea looked up at him and a wicked smile crossed his lips. He walked back to his chair and said "Did you think that I won't punish you for what you did. I had to spend 2 years in the jail for your doings and was sentenced to death.Oh wait...did you actually think that I died back then?" He started laughing like a maniac.Andrea could not process anything she started feeling dizzy. She started wondering if the food was drugged and looked up at his laughing figure before darkness consumed her and she passed out on the ground.
