The next morning Cornelius, Grant, and Angelina rode from the big house to see the horse herd. Angelina was awestruck. She had heard Santana say the Paso Finos could come in any color, but this herd contained some of the most beautiful colors she had ever seen. Several were shiny blond with light blond manes and tails. She was captivated!
Grant said to Cornelius, “Here’s an idea for you. I think that the horses we bought in Venezuela and your horses and equally good. If you agree when you see them, we could trade even for however many you want.”
“Okay, if I agree with your assessment, trading ten would be good. Actually, I will trade you twelve for ten. The extra two will be a gift for my granddaughter.”
