Emrys looked rather pathetic for me to overlook. There were more important things for us to attend to. Things like the rumor going around the Packhouse that Kane was trying to get the soldiers on his side.
“I'm sure you're oblivious of the fact that Kane is trying to play a fast one on us,” I knew there was a great chance Emrys might not like what I was about to say. But, I was still going to say it regardless. “I know how much you find Jessica attractive but I think he's trying to use her as a bait to get to you,”
