My gut clenched as the dark thing in me welled up. All I saw was another man between my mate’s thighs. In my mate’s heart. “Snap out of it!” Saga hissed. He shook my shoulder hard, and I realized the darkness was welling out of me in a threatening cloud of power. I was seconds from surrounding Modi with it and squeezing until he was gone.
