Silence
I could hear silence teasing my ears like a teenage boy teasing their secret crush. The only sound loud enough to bother my unconsciousness was the sound of the clock ticking nearby. But aside from that, heat was coming from somewhere on my right side as I lay there on a soft bed that felt unfamiliar but the scent was enticing. I knew someone was there watching me which made my heart beat faster.
I slowly opened my eyes and somehow figured out I was safe with the shadow of a man in the room, he was positioned himself sideways, looking out of the window. He looked delicious as he held his wine with his firm hand and fingers, another hand on his side. It was the first time I could really study his features.
