In the end, the real Hoshiro decided to go back to his life on Earth and the real Merillion was determined to follow her husband into a new world. They decided that if they wanted to, they would hop between worlds to keep things interesting.
The clone couple decided to stay in Sorhalon and took up the mantle of being part of the council of Sorhalon, with the clone Hoshiro being the first Emperor of Sorhalon, agreed upon by all of the members of the elected representatives.
Knowing that the realm was in good hands, the real Hoshiro and Merillion prepared to make their journey home.
In packing their luggage, they wanted to travel light, as Hoshiro assured Merillion that on Earth, there would be all conveniences already prepared.
