Aurelia walked down the aisle all by herself—not that she had anyone to walk her down.
Her hands were clenched tightly around her dress as she felt the numerous eyes watching her. Some admired her, while others threw jealous glares at her
If only they knew this wasn't a marriage, but a short way to hell.
As she got closer to the altar, Aurelia looked up and met the infuriating gaze of Lucian.
He had a blank expression that displayed absolutely no emotion, staring at her as though he was calculating every step she took.
Aurelia reached the altar and stood beside him. The priest wasted no time and immediately began the vows.
"Do you, Mr. Lucian Voss, take Miss Aurelia Knight to be your lawfully wedded wife, till death do you part?" the priest recited.
"I do," Lucian replied blankly.
"Do you, Miss Aurelia Knight, take Mr. Lucian Voss to be your lawfully wedded husband, till death do you part?" the priest asked.
"I do," she replied, sealing her fate and allowing the weight of those two words to sink in.
"If there is anyone against this union, speak now or remain silent forever," the priest said.
The church became completely silent.
After all, who would dare stand against the feared Lucian Voss?
Aurelia scoffed at the thought, but the sound came out louder than she had expected.
"Is that scoff directed at me, wifey?" Lucian asked, staring deeply into her blue eyes.
"No," Aurelia replied, looking away and ignoring the sarcasm in his voice when he called her wifey.
"Since there is none, we may proceed. With the power vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss."
"Scrap that. The wedding is over," Lucian said before turning around and walking out of the church.
"Monster," Aurelia muttered.
She hurried after him, but his car had already driven off.
"Then how am I supposed to get back now?" Aurelia shouted, looking frustrated.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Voss, but Boss ordered us not to take you home. He wants you to walk back," one of the men said before getting into the last car and driving away.
"Fine. I'll just take a cab," Aurelia muttered, walking off while still wearing her wedding dress.

****Black Gold clan****
Lucian stepped out of the car and was immediately met by a furious Diana. She was pacing around like a time bomb ready to explode.
"What the f**k is this, Lucian?" Diana yelled, shoving her phone in his face.
Lucian slapped the phone out of her hand, sending it crashing to the ground.
"Don't cross the line, Diana," he warned before walking away, completely ignoring the greetings of the mafiosos who greeted him.
"You are mine, Lucian, and no girl can take you away from me," Diana muttered obsessively before walking away.

*****Black gold Estate******
Aurelia had been walking for two hours.
No cab driver had agreed to take her into the estate. She had only managed to get a cab to the first estate gate, and from there, she had been forced to walk.she doesn't have a choice though
She had removed her heels long ago, but her wedding gown was still an obstacle.
Despite her exhaustion, Aurelia couldn't help but admire the place.
The flowers planted around the estate were mainly black roses, while the walls were decorated with what appeared to be pure gold. Everything seemed to glow beneath the lights.
It was beautiful.
Yet somehow, Aurelia knew that beneath all that beauty lay her pain.
"So he's this rich? Then why did the money my parents no those betrayal owed him such a big deal?" Aurelia thought bitterly.
She couldn't believe her parents had actually given her up as collateral to bear the brunt of their crime.
A car horn suddenly pulled her out of her thoughts.
Aurelia looked up and realized she was standing in the middle of the road.
"OMG! I'm so sorry," she exclaimed, quickly moving out of the way.
"It's fine," the guy in the car said as he stepped out.
"Aren't you the newest bride, Aurelia Knight?"
"So you know me already?" Aurelia asked. She scoffed.
"Still on your wedding dress? seems like he abandoned you at the church," the guy said.
"None of your business. And please, if you'll excuse me, I have a journey to continue," Aurelia snapped, walking away.
But he quickly reached out and stopped her.
"Sorry. I overstepped. Let me make it up to you by offering you a ride home."
Aurelia couldn't refuse. She was clearly exhausted.
Ten minutes later, they arrived at the second gate.
"I'm sorry, but this is as far as I can go," he said.
Aurelia smiled and nodded.
"Thank you."
She stepped out of the car.
"Martins," the guy said and Aurelia turned around.
"Martins?" she repeated.
"Yeah. That's my name," Martins said with a smile.
"Alright, Martins. Bye, and thanks for the ride," she muttered.
He smiled before driving away.
Thirty minutes later, Aurelia finally stood in front of the house.
She was staggering as she walked. All her life, she had never experienced this kind of torture before.
The compound was filled with huge men dressed entirely in black. Even their faces were covered with strange, shaped masks.
Aurelia had been terrified when she first entered the compound, but no one had questioned her or said anything.
Maybe they recognized her because of the wedding gown she was wearing.
"Hey, bitch."
An unfamiliar girl in a uniform called out to her.
Aurelia turned around.
"So you're the debtor who sneaked her way into my boss's life."
Aurelia remained silent, simply watching her.
"With the look of things, he abandoned you at the church. And what are you holding? Your shoes? Don't tell me you trekked all the way here."
The girl burst into laughter.
Aurelia continued staring at her silently.
"What? Are you ashamed to speak?" the girl continued.
But Aurelia said nothing.
She was too tired. The little strength she had left couldn't be wasted arguing with someone like her.
"Stop making a fool out of yourself, little girl."
That was enough to anger the girl.
"You—"
"Lana, what's going on there?"
An elderly woman stepped out of the house.
"I wanted to take her to her room, ma'am," Lana replied, bowing respectfully.
"That's okay. I'll take it from here. Get back to work."
Lana bowed again, giving Aurelia one last glare before walking away.
"Come, my child," the woman said.
Aurelia obediently followed her.
"That's your room," the woman said, pointing toward a door.
"Go change and rest. A maid will come and get you for dinner. If you need anything, there's a bell right there, ring it.And please call me Kim."
She walked away immediately without waiting for Aurelia's response.
Aurelia couldn't believe she had actually been given a room.
She had thought she would be taken back to the cell where she had been kept before.
She walked toward the door and opened it.
Darkness greeted her.
"Why would a room be this dark during the day?" she muttered.
She stepped inside.
The moment she entered, the door closed behind her, and the light suddenly switched on.
Aurelia flinched.
She turned around and froze.
Lucian was leaning against the door.
"You are quite a bold cat, don't you think?" he asked, staring at her.
Aurelia instinctively shifted backward.
"So you got acquainted with a guy a few hours after our wedding."
His expression darkened.
"Such guts."
He pushed himself away from the door and began taking slow steps toward her.
"Do you want me to write it on you that you belong to me alone?"
He stopped in front of her.
"You are my possession."
"I'm not yours, and I will never be yours!" Aurelia snapped. "You left me at the church, gave a stupid order that I should trek back, and for some reason, no cab agreed to take me here. And now you're standing here saying trash! W—"
She didn't get to finish.
Lucian grabbed her by the neck.
"Here, you live by rules," he said coldly.
"1; don't snap at me,
2. don't touch my things,
3. trespass into my room, and you regret it."
His grip tightened.
"4.You should never touch me,
5. don't stare at me directly."
Aurelia struggled to breathe.
" 6. You answer 'Yes Master' to everything I say. Do you understand?"
"Yes," she managed to reply.
His grip tightened again.
"Yes, Master," she quickly added.
