Chapter 12 Nephew?

We walked to the hospital and when we got there the nurse took the girls to the room where the boy is staying in., we sat in the waiting room while they visited the boy.

The girls told the nurse to go and that they got this. As soon as they saw the boy, they felt very protective of him. Mira felt both possessive and protective over him.

“Who are you?” asked the boy.

“Don’t be scared we won’t let anyone hurt you. My name is Mira.”

“And my name is Serena we are sisters. And I also promise you that we won’t let anyone harm you, you are safe here.”

They then walked inside the room and went to sit on a chair on either side of his bed.

“What is your name?” asked Serena.

“My name is Damon Bellavia Blackwell or at least that’s what my parents last name is.”

“Thanks for telling us. I know someone that also has the same last name. She is our godmother. Her last name is also Bellavia. Do you want to meet her?” asked Serena.

“Really? Is she kind? She is not going to lock me up and hurt me?” he said with uncertainty.

“She won’t harm you we promise. We will be here by your side if you want to meet her?” Mira said.

“I also promise that we will protect you. You are safe here we won’t let anyone harm you or take you from us okey?” Said Serena.

“Okey if that’s so then yes I want to meet her.” Said Damon.

She picked up her phone that Reiko gave her in case something happens and called her.

“Hi girl. What’s up?” she said.

“Well, we talked to the boy we saved the last day, and he has the same last name as you and aunt aria. I asked if he wanted to meet you and he said Yes. Do you think you could come here today and visit him with me and Mira beside him?”

“Really well if that is the case then he is one of us and is probably a hybrid then, so I must teach him. I will pack my things and teleport to the pack hospital right now. Tell your parents that I will stay with you guys for a few months or years.” Reiko said.

They hung up. She smiled and told Damon that she will be here soon and that she will be staying here and teach him everything he needs to know. He smiled and thanked her. They chatted happily for a few minutes then Serena felt like Reiko was here, so she walked outside the room and saw her standing in the corridor, so she called her name and Reiko walked towards her and hugged her then she led her to the room. The boy looked a little scared, so Serena walked over to his left side and held his hand while Mira was on his right side holding his hand. He took a couple of deep breaths to calm himself down telling himself that he is safe. He looked at the girls and they smiled then Reiko smiled and carefully closed the door behind her then she sat down at the bed and smiled at him. He has never seen such a nice lady before. She held his hand, in that moment, he knew that he was safe and that he could trust her. When she took his hand, she could see like a movie how his life has been. She started to cry and then the kids let go of him and she cried harder and hugged him while telling him that everything is okey and that she won’t let them take him back. she will keep him safe and help him find his father. She had a feeling that she had to help him and keep him safe. When she had calmed down, she got a napkin and whipped away her tears. Then Mira took the napkin and threw it away in the garbage can.

“Everything is okey now Damon. I won’t let anything happen to you. I promise. Did you feel it when I touched you?” Said Reiko.

“Yes, I felt safe and that I should trust you. But I also felt like I knew you. Why is that?” Said Damon.

“Good. You felt that because we are family. When I touched you, I could see everything you went through, but I also saw the future which I can’t tell you about. All I know is that I must protect you and keep you safe until we find your father. And I have a feeling that me and my sister know him. I will talk to her and our cousin Caroline and see what they know.” Said Reiko.

“Really, we are family. How? They told me he left me and that he is dead.” Said Damon.

“Yes, we are family. They probably lied to you, my child. If he was dead, I would have felt it when I touched you, but I didn’t. Your link to your father is still there which means he is alive. And just by looking at you, you remind me of our older brother. He is a hybrid. He is a mix of Lycan and witch. The last time we saw him he told us that he would go looking for his mate.” Said Reiko.

“Wow. Wait so you’re saying that he is alive and that he didn’t abandon me? Then why didn’t he look for me? Really.” Said Damon.

“Our brother always wanted to find his mate and have a big family. My guess is that his mate took off when she realized that her child would be a hybrid and felt like she had to hide you from her family. That means that your mother comes from the sinful witch clan that made the moon goddess angry. They only want pure blooded witches that’s why she probably hid you. And my guess is that your father doesn’t even know that she gave birth to you because if he did, he would have searched everywhere for you. Maybe she told him that you died that’s a possibility too.” Said Reiko.

“Wait so you mean that my mother's family rejects their mates or kill them if they aren’t witches? Why would she do that do me and my dad?” Said Damon sounding upset.

“Yes. She would do that to protect herself so that her family won’t banish her from their family or worse kill her for giving birth to an abomination. In their family they don’t want a mix they want to keep their witch bloodline of only pure witches.” Said Reiko.

“Oh. So, my mum she chose her family instead of me?” he said with sadness laced in his voice.

“I’m sorry kiddo but yes, she did. But don’t worry I’m going to take care of you and when you are older, and the girls can protect you while I’m gone, I will go and search for your father okay?” Said Reiko.

“Okay. Alright. But if my father is your older brother doesn’t that make you, my aunt?” Said Damon.

“Good. Yes, it does. I knew it as soon as I touched your hand that you and I were related somehow. And as your aunt I will stay and take care of you until you are older only then will I go and look for your father.” Said Reiko.

Damon nodded and smiled at her then she hugged him again. Later the nurse told them that the visiting hours was over but strangely Mira refused to leave him. She yelled at the nurse telling her that she won’t go anywhere if he stays in this hospital. Serena looked at Reiko and noticed how she smiled while looking at Damon and Mira and that’s when she saw it. The looks they kept giving each other told her that she was right about them being mates in the future. She looked at Reiko and smiled. Then they left the room and she walked to her parents while Reiko called her sister.
