Chapter 10

Mika’s Pov.

I got so worried when they told me that they couldn’t find Serena anywhere. I carried Mira in my arms and mind linked my mate that our daughter was missing. He went to look for her and then a few minutes later he mind-inked me telling me that they had found a wounded pup. When the doctor told us what had happened to the pup, I got angry and so did my wolf. She wanted to kill those who hurt the pup and I felt that my mate also wanted that. The alpha and gamma looked ready to kill those responsible for hurting that kid and had to walk away and so did my mate. I understand them but someone must stay by his side so that he won’t be alone when he wakes up, they pushed the bed inside the intensive care unit room. He couldn’t have any visitors right now. He was in a critical condition and if he survives the night then he is going to be fine. He must survive the next 24 hours they have to keep a close watch on him all night. I held my arm towards Serena and picked her up. Then I told the doc to keep him alive no matter what or else I would personally look forward to killing anyone who is responsible for being unable to keep him alive. The doc nodded and ran away. I carried my kids and walked out of the hospital and walked back home then when we got home, I filled the bathtub with hot water and undressed the kids and put them in the bath and cleaned them. then I took a towel and dried them and then I put their pajamas on and put them to bed. After they had fallen asleep, I walked into the kitchen and baked some chocolate chips cookies and chocolate muffins and made some dinner for later. The kids were safe that’s all that mattered. After an hour my mate came back and asked if the kids were okey. I kissed him and told him that they are asleep in their bedroom now. I continued to cook dinner and Marc helped me with cutting the vegetables while I made the food. I made some Mexican omelets with scrambled eggs and sausages and some omurice etc. when the food was done, I told my mate to go wake the girls up for dinner. He went to get the kids. After ten minutes I heard the girls laughing and running down the stairs and into the kitchen. When I turned around Serena hugged my leg and so did Mira and when my mate walked inside, they both hid behind me asking me to hide them, so I turned around and picked them up in my arms and then I giggled and ran away. My mate laughed and ran after us. The girls giggled and so did I. after twenty minutes my mate caught us and tickled us until we laughed so much that we cried then he stopped and told us so go eat dinner. After we had calmed down, we walked to the kitchen and sat down at the table and began eating. The girls were very hungry they ate very fast and stuffed their mouth full of food. I told them to slow down so that they don’t choke on their food. Marc agreed and told them to eat slowly. They did as we told them then after dinner we cleaned up and went into the living room and watch a movie then after the movie I went into the kitchen and put the cookies and muffins on a plate and then I brought it with me to the living room and put it down on the table in front of the sofa. The kids immediately went to the table and stuffed their faces with cookies and muffins. We just laughed at them. I took my camera and took a picture of them they looked so cute their cheeks looked like a squirrel it was way too cute. Then we watched one more movie while eating some cookies and muffins. After the movie ended, I noticed that my mate was lying on the floor with the kids sleeping on his chest. I took my camera and then snapped two pictures at different angles. They looked way to cute together. I didn’t want to wake them up, so I took some pillows and blanket and put the blanket over them then I carefully lifted my mates head and put the pillow under it. Then I cleaned up and decided to watch one more movie and after a while I fell asleep on the floor beside my mate and kids. Next morning, I woke up to some movement beside me and opened my eyes and saw my kids stifling their giggles and looked at their father with naughty eyes. Amused I turned around to look what they found funny and that’s when I notice that he had drool on his mouth and chocolate on his nose and face. I couldn’t hold it in and immediately fell over laughing my head off and so did the girls. We laughed so much that we cried, and my mate just sat there newly awake and just looked at us like we had grown another head, I tried to talk when he looked at me and I couldn’t get a word out without laughing. It looked way to funny. I took my camera and took a picture of him and showed him what was so funny. He looked horrified when he saw the picture. He just shook his head at us and smiled. I knew he wouldn’t get mad because he can be a real silly little baby sometimes. Well, he is my silly baby, but I love him. After we had calmed down and he had washed his face we began to make breakfast and the girls helped their dad making some homemade pressed orange juice. They loved being in the kitchen and they really loved pressing oranges to make juice. We grow our own potatoes and vegetables etc. so we are very independent and only buy what’s necessary like clothes, soap etc. I made some scrambled eggs and omelets and sausages. Then I put it on the plates on the table and then we began to eat. After breakfast I helped the kids shower and get dressed and so did I. Then we walked downstairs and got our coats and got ready to go outside. My mate came and kissed us on the cheeks then we left the house and walked to the daycare and left the kids there. After that we left and went to the alpha's office in the pack house to talk about the boy. But when we came there the beta told us that the alpha had to go to the neighboring pack for a meeting and will be back in two days. Then we left and went back home. We cleaned the house and then sat down in the living room and watched a movie. Then Aria came to visit with her mates telling us that she had a vision that Serena would find a badly wounded pup and asked us if she found him. We said yes. She said good and then smiled. She also told us that they would leave the pack soon. She just wanted to say goodbye to us before they leave the pack. We hugged her and told her mates to take care of her or we will skin them alive. Aria just laughed and told us that she loves us. We told her that we loved her too. Then she walked outside.
