Chapter 15 Searching for Nathan

The next day I went to the alpha to ask him if I could take care of the boy here in the pack. Mika and Marc also asked the alpha if it was okey with him that we lived at their house until my sister have found his father. The Alpha agreed and wanted to do a ceremony to invite him in the pack, but I told him that the boy has been through a lot and is too young for that so that must wait. Thankfully the alpha understood and agreed to wait until the boy is older. Then alpha asks how the boy is doing, and I explain that he still is reluctant to leave his hospital room and doesn’t trust anyone outside of the people he has grown to known while being in the hospital. And that he is mostly relaxed around Mira and Serena. He doesn’t seem to trust adults or other kids very much but seems to trust the girls the most. The alpha nodded and asked if the boy was going to leave the hospital any time soon if the girls follow him. We just looked at him with surprise and was shocked that we hadn’t thought of something simple as that before. We answered that we haven’t tried that one yet but that we could try and see if he wants to go with them. The alpha nodded and after we were done with the meeting we walked outside and left the pack house and went to the hospital. After I had returned to the hospital, I walked into Damons hospital room.

“Hi sweetheart, how are you feeling?”

“Hi aunty I feel fine.” Said Damon.

“Good. Well, I have some good news for you and a suggestion for you.”

“Oh, ok what is it?” Said Damon.

“You can be discharged from the hospital today and the suggestion I was talking about is if you would like to come and live with me at Miras and Serenas parents’ house until aunty Aria has found your dad?”

“Why? You want to live with me? Are you sure that’s okey?” Said Damon.

“Well, you are fine now and don’t need to stay here anymore. Yes, I want to live with you. I have asked them, and they said its okey. The girls are very protective of you and Mira even refused to leave your side remember.”

“Ok. Well, if that is the case then I guess I have no choice just kidding of course I would love to live with you aunty even if the girls weren’t there but if we live with them then I can play with them whenever I want right?” Said Damon sounding happy and excited.

“Yes, you can play with them whenever you want. What do you say about moving there today?”

“Can we really do that?” Said Damon standing up in his hospital bed feeling excited to see them again.

“Yes of course we can so calm down little man and pack your things while I go and sign the papers.”

“Okey aunt.” Said Damon, walking down from the bed and took out a bag and packed his newly bought clothes and old clothes that his aunt had gotten him. Apparently, some of the clothes belonged to his father when he was around his age. Just the thought of him wearing his father's old clothes made him smile. He couldn’t wait for the moment he could finally meet his dad.

I signed the paperwork and then I went back to the room where I saw a smiling Damon. I smiled when I saw what he smiled at. He was holding my brothers old shirt in his hands and smiled that happy smile which made my heart melt. I think I know now why people love their kids. Even if he is just my nephew, I will treat him like he was my own. Then I walked inside. I watched while he packed down the last things in his bag then he closed it. I took the bag and held of my arms to carry him which he gladly accepted. I know he could walk but s I have seen his memories I know that his mum never hugged him or even touched him. I want him to know what it feels like to be carried by his family. Plus, I just used magic to make him lighter. I walked outside while holding him in my arms all the way to my friend’s house. When I got there, I didn’t even have the time to knock on the door before serena was there and opened it for us. Marc came running asking Serena why she didn’t tell him. she just shrugged and smiled at Damon. I put him down and he ran straight to Serena who just laughed at his action while telling him that he was cute which in turn made Mira annoyed. I bet they are going to be mates I just know it. One week later I got a phone call from Aria telling me that they have found a lead on our brothers whereabouts which was great but the only worry I had was which of them they will meet. Our brother was very kind while his beast was not. After she had hung up the phone, I told Mira and Marc the news and they got happy for me.

One year later, Aria still hadn’t found our brother but met two people that knew where he might be and, apparently, they belonged to his pack and were his deltas. Which means that our brother had created his very own pack, which was hard to believe. But at least we know that he is alive. The only problem is that we don’t know how to find his pack. He may have used his powers to hide his pack from prying eyes or enemies or to keep people from finding him. Hopefully, we will find him soon and take him home. But for now, I will raise Damon as if he were my own. I am all he has got now. I just hope my sister and her mates will be able to find our brother soon. I feel a bit relieved to live with Mika and Marc because I know that they will help me, and I don’t need to worry about him not having friends because now he has Serena and Mira.
