Chapter 6 Going on a Trip

Then they all walked outside and sat in the car and drove away from the pack. Then they drove into the pack city and parked outside the girl's favorite restaurant which was the Mexican tacos restaurant. The girls loved tacos and enchiladas and burritos etc. they walked out of the car and walked inside the restaurant and a waitress showed them to their table that they have booked. Then they sat down, and the waitress gave them the menus and then she left. After a few minutes everyone had decided what to order and called for the waitress. She came and stood beside their table.

“Hi welcome to our restaurant. What would you like to order?” said the waitress.

“Thanks, we would like to order 2 burritos and 8 tacos and 4 enchiladas and then the children would like to drink some orange juice, 2 beers and four glasses of coke. That would be all.” Said Marc.

“Alright. Just wait a few minutes and the food will be ready. I will go get your drinks now.” Said the waitress. Then she walked away to give the order to the chef then she went to get their drinks then she returned and placed their drinks on the table and went to help other people to their table and take their orders. It was a busy night for the restaurant. After 15 minutes their food was done, and the waitress went to their table.

“Here is your order. 2 burritos, 8 tacos, 4 enchiladas.” Said the waitress.

“Thanks.” Said Mika.

She gave them their food and they passed the food to everyone and then she walked away. They talked and ate their dinner. The girls were smiling and laughing the whole time, so the birthday surprise was a success which was great. After they were done, they paid for their food and went their ways. They drove all the way back home and when they got home the girls had fallen asleep in the car, so Marc and Marcus carried them inside and changed their clothes and put them to bed. Then they closed the girl's bedroom door and went downstairs to the others and ate some chips and some coke and watched a movie. Then they all fell asleep in the sofas. The next morning Mika, Aria, Avery woke up early and cleaned up the mess and then they walked to the kitchen to make breakfast. They made some porridge and fried eggs, bacon, sausages and fried rise. The also made some fired toast with eggs. After they were done, they put everything on plates and put them on the table then they put some orange juice on the table too. Then they woke everyone up telling them that it was breakfast. The kids ran to the table and sat down then everyone also sat down. They ate their food and then the kids went to the living room and watched ben ten on the tv while the grown-ups washed the dishes and talked. Later that day in the afternoon Marcus and Avary said their goodbyes to the girls and then drove back to their home. Aria and Reiko decided to stay until the girls were fully recovered. The next day they decided that they would go champing at Aria and Reiko’s secret place. No one can find them there its completely safe. The place is protected by their ancestors which means that no other witch is welcome there. And it also hides the people who stay there. They ate their breakfast and then they cleaned up and then they packed all the stuff and food they would need. Then they left and let Aria and Reiko take their turns in driving there. They told the alpha that they would go camping before they left. It was 8 hours’ drive there. The girls fell asleep after 4 hours. Mira focused on the road while Reiko told her the directions and Mika and Mark was fast asleep like their kids. When they had arrived at the place they spoke to their ancestors and asked them to welcome them and protect them from harm while they stay there. They accepted and let them through. They drove another five minutes den they parked the car in front of a big old mansion. Everyone woke up the second the car stopped. The house looked like it came straight out from a horror movie which was scary as f**k. They walked out of the car and carried their kids out of the car and then walked to stand beside Aria and Reiko. Then they stood there and looked at house. It was so spooky looking. It looked like one of those haunted houses from horror movies. And they were going to stay inside that house. The house looked like a mansion from afar but up close it almost looks like a castle. That’s how big the house was. Aria walked toward the front door of the house when it opened by itself which scared the crap out of Marc and Mika. The was still half sleep so they didn’t really notice when the door flied open in front of their eyes. Aria walked inside and thanked her ancestors for welcoming them home and allowing their friends protection as if they are their own. It made Aria happy that they accepted their friends to enter the land. Then Reiko pushed her friends nicely and told them to follow her inside which they did. It was a relief to them knowing that their ancestors allowed their friends to not only enter their land but also their house. They were so damn happy that they almost thought that it was a dream until Aria saw their grandma showing herself in front of them and walked to Mika who was holding Serena. She touched her forehead and said:

“Make sure you always keep this little one protected. She is special and will one day make peace with all supernatural creatures. You cannot let anyone harm or kill her. Keep her safe, my child, and teach her everything you know.”

And kissed her forehead, then she disappeared. This has never happened before. Their grandma rarely shows herself at all, but this time she did. They were speechless and didn’t know what to say or think. But one thing they were sure of was that if their grandma said that she was special, then that, means that with the kiss on Serena's forehead, their grandmother made this a witch business, which means that she is now under my coven's protection, and it's only a matter of time before, the others will ask, but we can't really trust anyone outside the family clan and because grandma kissed her made this our family business and now makes it our job to protect her and teach her everything she needs.

“Well because our grandma kissed Serena on her forehead, she just made this our family business and our job to keep her safe and protect her but to also teach her. Everyone in our family will now protect her from harm no matter what.” Said Aria with seriousness in her eyes and looks.

“What but I thought she died?” Said Mika.

“Well technically she is but her spirit never leaves the house and because of our powerful bloodline we don’t die completely after our bodies do, we will still be here. And grandma never shows herself to anyone outside the family. And by recognizing the children worth our grandma put this kid in our hands to protect and shall we fail this task we will all be punished. Because she sealed a contract with Serena the minute, she touched her forehead to bring out her Lycan. This means that our bloodline will always protect her and her future children.” Said Reiko.

“Wow. Really then I guess we don’t have to worry about them in the future being all alone because they will have you two.” Said Mika and her mate nodded. Agreeing with her.

After the discussion was over, they showed them around the house and then showed them to their rooms where they will sleep in while they are there. They showed them two big rooms on the first floor where they will sleep. Mika and Marc will stay in the room that’s closest to the kitchen while the kids will sleep in the room closest to the hallway and there is one bathroom in every room. Then they unpacked and put their clothes in the closet and then they began to make some dinner in the kitchen only to see the kitchen tools moving on their own and cooking dinner. They screamed in shock and Aria came running thinking something had happened but when she saw them looking in the kitchen, she laughed so hard that she fell over and fell on the floor laughing her head off. Reiko came to see why her sis was laughing and what she saw made her giggle and have a laughing fit as well. After they calmed down, they explained that their chef is coming down soon that’s why she used her magic to make dinner while she is fixing some business. Well, the chef is their cousin, but the difference is that she lives in the house 24/7 and they don’t they are only there for a short time because of their work. Their cousin's name is Care short for Caroline; she doesn’t like it when you call her full name.
