Ch3 : Unwanted Punishment

Adrian will be your sparring partner from now on. Selena protested, "Sir I would be very thankful if you kindly reconsider your decision"
Adrian roared, "No Sir I insist on teaching Selena. I would love to help her out."
Harris smiled again. Selena I am sure you will be benefitted. Now it's time to start your first day. Go on....
He walked away before Selena could say anything.
"Why the hell did you insist on teaching me?"
He tightly held her fist and dragged her to a corner of the hall, picked boxing hand wraps from the neatly arranged shelves and started wrapping her hands tightly and violently.
Selena could feel the pain but kept quiet.
He said, "Mam, remember this is not a sport of legs but of hands."
She tried to pull her hands but his grip only grew stronger.
"It's causing me pain. Can you be a little gentle?"
"Then you should not have come to learn the sport in the first place
and I have been learning this for years, you do not tell me what to do!!!! "
"Whatever", she murmured.
"Now you will do the stances. Left leg at the front, right at the back and lift your right feet a little up.
Then gradually, she leared the basics of how to keep the hands while fighting.
He said,"That's it for today. Make sure to practise this tomorrow."
He went to another room leaving Selena behind. She sat down on a pile of what seemed like puching bags, and called Ben.
"Bennnnnn... guess what?
I have joined the boxing academy."
"Since when?"
"Today."
Ben lowered his voice and whispered, "Any handsome boy, you found?????"
" The piece of trash you met today in class ,is my newwwwww sparring partner. I hate it. "
"What.... that handsone boy??? I think you just hit the lottery."
"Stop it you i***t", she shouted.
She didn't realise Marry was already standing behind.
"Is it Ben?"
Selena turned, "Oh, yesss Mum."
Let's go home.
One her way back home, Marry asked, "How was the first day?"
"Okay..... I guess."
Next Morning, Selena didn't feel like going to school. She wanted to avoid Adrian at any cost but today, they had
P. E in the second period and Selena would not not miss it for sure. She was already running late.
She quickly brushed, bathed, combed her hair and tied it into a ponytail, gulped the breakfast down her throat and mounted on her bike.
On reaching school, she saw Adrian was already there and cursed herself for not being able to get there on time.
"Mr. Boxer, would you please make some space."
Adrian did not budge. The whole classroom was full.
Ms. Athena entered the room and on seeing Selena, she said, "Ms. Cruz, ten laps around the fiellld... Now!!!!!"
Selena glared at Adrian and left the room.There was scorching heat but that could never stop Selena. She ran 8 laps when the bell for the P. E period rang. All the students including Adrian came down on the field.Selena was running barefooted on the grass. Her legs were hurt, but she didn't stop.
Adrian was surprised to see her determination. She came to meet her classmates after her punishment was completed. She went to the locker room for changing.
In the PE class the teams for the upcoming Relay race were decided and obviously Adrian and Selena were on opposite sides leading their own team.
Selena's whole body was in pain, especially her feet.She went to the classroom and sat on the last bench and put her head down the rest of the classes.
At the end of the day, when she was standing in front of the locker,she felt someone's presence behind. She heared
, "See you at the practice, Mam!".
