Ch5: The Accident

Selena skipped school today. She has healed from the last shock but has promised to never talk with that piece of trash again. How quickly did he judge her without knowing the exact thing!!!!

Harris said she is performing well, so they can start her sparring practices from now onwards..

Adrian has a different plan today.

Selena was feeling a little dizzy, She splashed some water on her face and took out the thermometer. She had a high fever. She decided to take the medicines after returning from the practice.

Harris had already prepared the boxing ring for Selena. He wanted Selena to participate in tournaments as soon as possible.

When Selena entered, Harris instructed him to get ready. He took off his T-shirt and wore his gloves. Selena was disturbed by this fact and asked Harris, "Can't he just keep his shirt on???"

"He never plays with a shirt on."

Soon they both were in the ring. Selena was nervous and exasperated for playing opposite to a shirtless monster. The sparring practice started. During the sessions, Adrian was a little bit distracted and he punched her hard. She flung away. Her head hit a hard piece of wood in the boxing ring. Blood covered the area. Everyone who was practising nearby came running. Adrian was left stunned as his own foolishness. How could a new girl,who has just learned the tactics, would be able to restrain such a strong punch on her first day of sparring? He quickly picked Selena in his arms, and Harris came running. He was shocked too.

Adrian carried her, shouting "Somebody call the ambulance!!!!!"

The ambulance arrived. He put her inside the car and sat inside it. His mind went blank, the moment he saw her face.

The golden hair turned red in blood, her beautiful face was covered in blood too. Her blue eyes, no longer held fire in them , they were closed as if she was sleeping peacefully.

Adrian could feel tears rolling down his cheek, he probably cried after ages. He didn't know why he was crying instead of being happy that his enemy was hurt.

Selena's parents were informed. Marry and Lucas were already at the hospital when Selena was being taken to the Operation theatre.Marry was crying. Adrian recalled the face of his Mother on seeing Marry.

He went to them.

Fell at their feet and begged for forgiveness.Marry said, "I know dear, it's not your fault. The last time I saw her in such a condition was when...."
