The next morning Marry and Lucas reached the hospital very early. They picked Adrian on the way to the hospital.
Marry held Adrian's hands and said, "I want you to take proper care of my girl."
Adrian's mother was with them that day. She said, "Don't worry. I shall take all the responsibilities."
Marry smiled at her.
In the hospital room, Selena was sitting on the bed, swinging her legs to and fro, restlessly.
Marry and Lucas entered the room.
Marry gently put her hand on her daughter's head. She lifted her head and said, "No use Mummy, I will not go with you."
"Ad will take you home. His mother has come too. Look!"
Selena was about to say something but Adrian's mother,Alicia came and softly held her hands.
"Please come with us dear."
Selena hugged her and started weeping.
Adrian was standing at a distance. He smiled.
On hearing his mother's order, "Ad, take her to the car.",
He came forward and held Selena's hand. She did not have the energy to protest and swung her hands across his shoulder but did not forget to say,"Don't think you can snatch my freedom from me."
