Chapter 6

On a fine afternoon, Daniela was planning to shop for new clothes since she keeps on complaining that her clothes in her wardrobe are old ones. Although they're new ones that she just brought last week.

She was on her way towards Samonte's Clothing Shop. Yes, just like the suggested name, the owner of this clothing shop is none other than Jenevic.

Jenevic Samonte is known for being one of the greatest designers in the country. However, despite being a designer, her family is into politics and her father is running as prime minister of the country which explains why the family owns their own military group, for protection of course.

The story of how Andrea met the squad is because of Daniela. Being the most cheerful of the group and of course, she introduced herself with no problem.

Since Andrea came from a place called Isabella, farthest part of Australia. Daniela was the first person she first met in Denvor and she didn't care much about the Andrea's past

Daniela accepted her fully and she even introduced her to her group of friends who are the most known ladies and pride of Denvor. That's the beginning of her being part of their circle of friends.

As she was walking to the entrance of the shop, she saw someone familiar in her peripheral vision. She stopped and turned her gaze to the cafe not so far from the clothing shop.

She saw a woman her age wearing a sexy red dress and heels having more inches than hers. Beside the woman, she saw a familiar figure of a man. It's Matthew. He's holding that woman's waist like they're both flirty.

By that very sight, she felt a pain in her heart. What does the man she's in love with, doing with a woman like that in public and acting so intimately?

Daniela picked up her phone and dialed the number of Matthew while looking at the two filthy 'childhood friends' in front of her.

After 4 rings, Matthew picked up the phone. Since Daniela is watching him from afar, she can see Matthew's pissed expression. She laughed at what she just saw.

"Hello, Theo. Where are you?"

"Hi Dani, I'm at home. I'm feeling sick. What's the problem?"

After Matthew said those words, he covered his mouth, holding his laugh. The woman beside him is also hiding her laugh.

Tssk, two little devils. Daniela thought.

"There's no problem at ALL... I'm going there. I want to take care of my sick boyfriend. Since I'm not far from your house, I'll be there in 8 minutes."

She can see Matthew panicking and cussing. The woman beside him seems like she's saying something and after she talks to him. Matthew nodded to her like they both agreed to something.

"Baby, I'm sick. If you're gonna come here, I'm afraid I might infect you. I don't want that."

Still finding some holes to escape to, huh? Matthew, you asshole.

Daniela couldn't hold back anymore and walked towards the direction of Matthew. She walked gracefully while holding her phone to her ear.

"But baby I'm walking there now. Don't worry you won't be infecting me anymore."

'Cause this is the end , of course.

Matthew is now gripping his phone tightly. Damn, this woman is unbelievable. Why can't she stay put with her pretty little life and just let me be? If it wasn't for her status, I might have broken up with her a long time ago.

"Matt, why don't you just break up with her and stay with me." The woman beside him said softly as she ran her little hands to his arms, flirting with him.

"No, I still need her to stand at the top. Once I'm richer, I can dump her anytime. Just wait a little more, Angelica." Matthew held her jaw and smiled at her back.

"No need to go to the top, Theo. Because you're going down." Daniela said when she reached the place where Matthew and Angelica. She caught them red-handed.

She put down her phone and smiled brightly at Matthew.

"Dani, I can explai--" Matthew couldn't finish his words when a loud slap landed on his face.

"There's no need for an explanation. We're breaking up." She said while she didn't let him finish his words.

"Hope you have a good life. Oh! I hope you will have. I'm gonna make your life miserable until you beg on your knees and kissed the ground before me 1000 times.....Of course, if you can."

Daniela was about to turn around when a hand suddenly pulled her back. It was the woman beside the shocked Matthew.

"Daniela, please forgive him. I'm the one who seduced him. It's not his fault." Angelica said while on the verge of crying.

"Haha. Well well, look Matthew, your ugly childhood friend is begging for you. Comfort her." Daniela said while laughing sarcastically.

"Dani, you're going overboard. Don't you insult Angelica in front of me." Matthew is angry now seeing Daniela like that.

"Oh, do I have to say sorry, Theo? You've been caught red-handed trying to kiss your 'friend' in front of me and you're here defending her. You couldn't even do that when someone insults me in front of others. What an asshole you are!" She shouted, her temper was testing her that time.

"And your name is Angelica? Your devilish acts didn't suit your name, Honey. Even your face feels like I'm looking at a devil." She added.

After Daniela said that, she felt a slap in her face.

"How dare you slap me! Do you know who I am?" Daniela said while raging in anger.

"Of course I know who you are. Matthew and I knew that you're a spoiled brat. We already begged for your forgiveness and you're giving us a sharp tongue? Are you even human?"

Now the two women are fighting in front of Matthew.

"Am I human? Said by the devil one. Do you really think that I can forgive you two after I saw you both cheating in front of me?!.... In front of me!.... You heartless w***e. Of course, you deserve all that I said. I'm only planning on making Matthew's life miserable but I guess I have to make yours more miserable."

Daniela starts tearing up.

"Matthew. I loved you for more than 3 years and this is how you love me back? I helped you and your family all those years. I even endured the bad things that my parents are saying to you guys because I know to my heart that you're a good person. Guess that's where I am wrong. You might say that I'm f*****g dumb, right?"

"Dani. I'm really sorry. Please, forgive me. I will stay away from Angelica from now on. I will always stay by your side. I love you."

"Ha! Love? I guess you're trying to say that you want to use me to make it to the top, right? Do you even love me genuinely, Matthew? Is 3 years together nothing to you? Why could you do such a thing? I did everything for you. Am I not enough? Tell me where did I lack?"

Daniela said a bunch of questions. Trying to find answers directly from Matthew's mouth. This will be the last time.

Silence breaks out between them and suddenly she hears someone laughing.

"Where did you lack? Of course, you lack everything! You couldn't even warm Matthew's bed. You don't know anything about taking care of your boyfriend all those years. Haha, of course while you can't give him the satisfaction he needed, I was there for him. I let him use my body. It's your fault to begin with!"

Hearing those words, she couldn't describe what she was feeling at that moment. Anger, pain and sorrow.

So after all this time, that's what he wants from me? He wants me to be a woman that he can play in bed? The f**k! Why did I even love this devil man?

"You slut!" Daniela slapped Angelica's face, side by side.

Matthew immediately grabbed her but she knocked him out to the ground.

"You've been with me and you know I know some martial arts, Matthew. You know you are no match for me." She said while holding Matthew's arm and she slowly twisted it.

Angelica tries to stop her but she kicks her hard in the stomach. Now, she can see the two who were standing earlier, in the ground and in pain.

Her heart rejoiced once she heard them writhing in pain.

The place is kind of hidden that people can't see them there.

"What a marvelous sight." Daniela said while she kept on kicking Matthew in his stomach.

After 5 minutes of playing with the both of them, she's satisfied. She bent in her knees and held Matthew's face.

This is the face of the man I once loved and now it's ugly as hell. It's covered with bruises and there's blood coming from his mouth.

"I don't want to do this, my dear Theo. But you leave me with no choice. By the way, this is just the beginning. Wait until you experience my wrath." She smiled at him and shoved him away. He passed out.

Angelica, on the other hand, is reaching out for Matthew. Her face is now uglier than before. Her hair is messy and she's full of scratches.

She reached Matthew and hugged him. Daniela just smiled at them both.

How satisfying.

"Y-you will p-pay for this..." Angelica said before she passed out.

Daniela caresses her own face that was slapped by Angelica earlier.

"Honey, I should be saying that."

She took a picture of both of them. She then dialed a certain number.

The other line immediately answered.

"Clean up this mess and send it to a hospital. Make sure no one will see you. I'll send the address. Clean it immediately."

"Okay, Boss."

She hung up her phone and called Andrea's number.

"Me and Matthew broke up. Tell the whole squad and we'll meet in Angel's bar. Don't show up and I'll kill you all." she said coldly.

She didn't give Andrea a chance to reply and she hung up immediately.

She's not in the mood to shop for new clothes anymore. She wiped her hands that were stained with blood with a piece of cloth and threw it away in the trash can before walking towards her car.

When she got inside, she picked her handbag in the passenger seat. Daniela was looking for something and when she found it, she lit her cigarette.

She started her Lamborghini car and drove it off to Angel's bar.

While driving, she heard her phone ring. She dumped her cigarette and lit up another one.

Emman calling....

She blows out the smoke before answering the call.

"What?"

"Boss, the mess has already been taken care of. We already sent it to the hospital."

"Good."

"Your actions really know no bounds, Boss. I didn't know you would go that far in hurting your boyfriend. They're almost dead when we got there."

"Ex-boyfriend...And don't meddle in my affairs or I'm gonna kill you myself."

"Haha, sorry Boss. You're really scary when you're angry. I don't want to anger you, of course. I still love my life."

"Good then."

Emman laughed at the cold shoulder that his Boss is giving him. I couldn't disobey you since you saved my life once. I will always follow you until I die.

"By the way, after those two get out of the hospital, make sure you will make Matthew and his parents out of work. As for Angelica, investigate her and tell me all about it. Understood?"

"Sure, Boss."

"Okay, bye."

She hung up the call and blew the smoke off.

Andrea couldn't believe what she just heard. Although it's not the first time she heard Daniela speak like that, this time, it is even weirder.

She informed the squad about it and they all agreed to meet up.

Andrea reached Angel's bar within just 10 minutes. Yes, Angel has her own bar as well.

When she got there, she saw Daniela smoking while holding a bottle of drink in her hand. She's a total wreck.

Andrea looked beside Daniela and she saw Lucille, Jenevic, Ladyheart, and Kendys. Seems like she's the only one late.

Angel is the one serving their drinks at the counter.

"Hey, Daniela. I'm here." After she said those words, Daniela immediately hugged her tightly.

"Babe. Why did he do this to me? Huhu, I love him with all of my heart. But still he cheated on me with his ugly childhood friend." Daniela said to Andrea like a child.

"Okay, I understand. He's a total asshole and a scumbag. You don't deserve him." Andrea said in a soft voice, caressing Daniela's hair like a caring mother.

"Yes. he's a scumbag! He doesn't know where he stands." Angel said while mixing some drinks professionally.

"How did you break up with him?" Kendys asked.

Daniela let go of Andrea and she sat straight while still holding her cigarette in her left hand.

"I was about to shop for new clothes and I saw him with his so-called friend near your clothing shop. I saw them nearly kissed so I rushed in and........beat them."

They all gasped at what their friend said. Seconds passed and they clapped proudly.

"That's what a strong woman should be. I'm proud of you, babe." Lucille said while laughing.

"They deserved it, so don't worry about that. Besides, you're a badass, babe. If it was me, I don't know what I would do at that moment. Maybe I'll just cry and run." Ladyheart said.

"Aren't you all not angry with me?" Daniela asked.

"Of course not, why would we be? Besides, we know you need that beating to calm your heart." Jenevic said.

Andrea was so shocked at what she just heard. They've been friends for years now and this is the first time she encounters them supporting their friend beating someone.

"You guys are really unbelievable. Daniela, you should have let them be. I know it hurts but you should have just broken up with him and left. Even if you beat them, it won't change the fact that he's a scumbag. You just wasted your time dealing with them."

After hearing what Andrea said, Daniela cried out loud and sobs like a baby. The others stared at Andrea with disbelief.

"Why are you so f*****g soft, babe? Daniela just got dumped and she caught her boyfriend cheating in front of her. They deserved what Daniela did. Are you really on our side?" Angel said.

"I know they deserved it, I'm just saying that Daniela shouldn't stain her hands to someone unworthy." Andrea said calmly.

"I agree with Andrea, but what's done is done. Let's just support Daniela now. Don't you fight in front of her!" Kendys said.

"I'm sorry, Andrea. I won't do it again. I'm sorry." Daniela said while she drinks from the bottle with one hand.

"It's fine. Don't overdrink yourself, hangover will hurt so bad. Share it with me, babe" Andrea went to her side and took the bottle out of Daniela's grip. She drinks directly from it as well.

"Haha, someone is saying that Daniela shouldn't overdrink herself but she's the one that will be having painful hangovers tomorrow, right Andrea babe?" Ladyheart said while taking a shot from the drink that Angel prepared.

"Oh f**k it. Let's drink ourselves tonight, cheers girls." Angel said when she got out inside the counter.

They all cheer with their own shot glass. Daniela threw away her cigarette and now she's on for a dance.

She grabbed Andrea and the others towards the dance floor.

It was 8 pm when they started drinking and now it's already midnight. They are all drunk except for Lucille and Jenevic.

Andrea was dancing with her friends when she noticed a man dancing behind her. She's so drunk that she couldn't recognize that man.

Without a care, she turned around and hooked both her hands on the man's shoulder. She smelled a familiar perfume coming from that man.

When she looked up, she noticed the man grinning. That man held her waist tight and whispered something.

"You sure are wild when you're drunk. You're quite dangerous in this state. Some random man might take advantage of you, including me."

If it's some random man, she might have slapped him off but this man gives her a sense of security. Like she can trust him right now.

Since she's so drunk, she just smiled at what the man just said. With sleepy eyes, she whispered back.

"Will you take advantage of me then?"

"Haha, don't provoke me. I might not hold myself back." He carried her in a bridal style.

"I'm taking you home, missy." Andrea hugged him to his neck. He froze to this small act and he can feel the heat forming in his body. He shaked his head and walked towards the other ladies.

Lucille and Jenevic saw what happened.

"Where do you think you're going? And where are you taking her?" Jenevic asked him.

"I'm Xeno Louindelle, her boyfriend. I'm taking her home." Their eyes widened in shock but they both agreed either way.

"Okay, take care of her." Lucille smiled at him and grabbed Jenevic to take care of the other drunk ladies.

"He's so hot and handsome. That's the richest man in the country, right? Lucky b***h, haha she really caught a big fish in her bait." Jenevic said while laughing with Lucille.

On the other hand, Xeno went outside and walked to his car while holding the drunk Andrea.

He opened the door and laid Andrea down slowly. It's just like the first time they met but this time, she's drunk and conscious.

Xeno was about to go out when Andrea hooked her hands to his. The electrical sensation runs down to his entire body. He's now on top of her. But he thought he shouldn't take advantage of this drunk woman.

"Xeno, stay." Andrea said with closed eyes.

He carefully puts her hands down. Xeno stared at her beautiful features.

"Mom. Dad. Please stop, forgive me." He saw her crying helplessly. It's his first time seeing Andrea this weak.

He wiped her tears. "I'll stay with you and will always be by your side. Don't worry, darling." He kissed her forehead and she slept afterwards.
