CHAPTER NINETEEN
JEREMIAH BRATZ WAS a lazy, ignorant man. He was only barely competent at his job as a reporter for the Indianapolis Star newspaper. But, he was a useful i***t to someone who wanted to promote a particular slant of the news and hide the source. When Bratz started getting anonymous, damming information about Fabiana Maricruz, information that the cops hadn’t released yet, he almost wet himself. Unfortunately for him, he wasn’t a brave man either, and the possibility of getting a family as well-placed and powerful as the Honeybuns mad at him didn’t appeal.
