9 As Anneliese gazed into Frank’s baby-blue eyes, she thought about how perfect he was. The town’s golden boy who caught the attention of all the young women. Few could ignore him as he walked by, sun shining on his blond locks. Frank was so much Hugh's opposite, he was like a foil to him. When Frank laughed, he did so wholeheartedly, with merry abandon. Hugh was dark and brooding and preferred to be alone. Frank, by comparison, was light-hearted and treated everyone like a friend. He loved everyone in the town and in the castle.
