23 I didn’t see either of my friends (who were anything but) while pulling out of my spot. But it was hard to keep an eye out for the men with the added distraction of so many pedestrians who couldn’t bother to look before crossing the street. I continued going straight past what should have been my first turn, then made a complete circuit around the block until I was headed in the proper direction. Still no gray SUV. And no one waving nine and three-quarter fingers. It might be time to bring in some more manpower (person-power?), at least investigatively.
