TIFFANY
I shook all over, with fear more than anything else. Who had done this to our parents?
Fin and Ollie held me in their laps on the couch, trying to warm me, but I still couldn’t stop shivering.
When Ruby walked into the kitchen and grabbed her cell phone, I pushed out of Ollie’s arms and staggered to my feet. “Who are you calling?”
Ruby put the phone to her ear. “Bella. Surely, she can work out what’s happened.... Hey Bella. Sorry to wake you. Yeah, can you feel it?”
I stared at her. Did the other two feel the creeping premonition that I had this morning?
“Ah-huh. You need to get over here ASAP, Bell. No, I won’t tell you on the phone, just get your butt over here and—”
Before Ruby could finish the sentence, Bella materialized in the lounge room.
