Black was creeping around the left side of a clump of trees while Vengeance lurked on the right. The man had run into the forest and the Weeds had to abandon the jeep. The intruder had made a huge mistake, as the thick vegetation that blocked the wind made it much easier to follow his scent. Beta crouched and sniffed the air and knew that his prey was close. The scent was strong and his prey was spooked. The man had a couple of miles of lead, but it would not be enough to escape.
