Nephrite listened to Lady Agata’s explanation. After meeting Shier, he kept in mind that learning about plants could help a lot for survival. Whichever world he goes to, as long as it’s not a place full of molten lava, he could find a plant that can be used in many ways.
Their group were currently discussing Chraen's trauma while having moon rose tea. It was the tea prescribed to help him avoid the effects of his fear of thunder.
On the way, Luminous asked permission to investigate it. As it will help Nephrite identify the problem with this body, he happily agreed. Luminous prepared numerous questions for his research as well.
Luminous turned out to be the grandson of the well renowned Medical Botanist, Witch Illumina. The Madrozja family was well-known and respected in both medical and as well as witchcraft and alchemy. Lady Agata had no choice but to give him face.
So when Luminous stated the possibility of the medicine failing and causing side effects, Lady Agata brought out the latest moon rose tea to prove her innocence. It was what she prescribed the last time Nephrite visited with his mom, stating the effect as 100%.
“Her lightning trauma should not occur that much during the rainy season. It will also improve her sleep and lessen the chance of the patient’s sleepwalk so as long as she will have this tea daily, specially at night. Though I only prescribed it at night, it is fine to have it at maximum of five times a day if necessary.”
“Lady Agata. What were the other choices you gave to them?”
Curious, Nephrite asked, “Other choices?”
“Yes, that’s a mandatory procedure for this.”
Lady Agata asked her assistant to bring Chraen’s visit record. And handed it to Luminous.
Luminous frowned upon seeing the list. “There were plenty of better options on this list yet the madam still chose the moon rose tea?”
“Madam Visterja picked the Moon Rose Tea on her own accord. I personally suggested aquawreath flower tea since it has more health benefits but she said her son prefered moon rose’s scent more.”
Nephrite did not find anything strange about this and agreed. Nephrite did not know the smell of the said vine but Chraen truly did not like aquawreath’s scent according to memory. Hence he did not ask for a change of prescription. He did not notice Luminous’ expression did not change.
On their way home, Luminous decided to hang out at their house.
Nephrite c****d his head, “Why the sudden decision? Not that I don’t mind.”
“I just want to observe a bit. Do you mind?” He asked while sorting some documents he brought with him earlier from the library and the duplicate of Nephrite’s medical records from Lady Agata’s clinic.
Nephrite chuckled, “You suddenly sounded too mature. I can’t get used to it. Haha.”
Luminous cleared his throat, “I got used to adjusting my temperament when I need to face my family’s acquaintance. It’s like my defense mechanism so no one could throw a fault at them because of me.”
Nephrite stared at him and nodded. An indecipherable feeling rose in his heart. He instinctively avoided thinking about it. He smiled before he turned towards the window, not bothering him any longer and let him finish in silence.
As they arrived at the mansion, they saw Hendryk coming out of the house, a car waiting outside the front door.
“Dad!” Nephrite called out and ran to his father as he stepped out of the car.
Hendryk hugged his son as soon as Nephrite approached. “Chraen, where have you been?”
“I went for a check up. I missed you, dad. Haven’t seen you for days. Are you about to leave again?”
Hendryk stopped hugging Nephrite when he noticed Luminous came out of the car. “Good morning, young lad. Aren’t you the young master of the Madrozja family?”
“Yes Sir, Good afternoon.”
Nephrite formally introduced them, “Dad, he’s my friend, Luminous. Luminous, my dad.”
“I’m glad you came over here. My son never brought a friend before. Enjoy your stay,” he turned to Nephrite, “Son, I’m leaving. I’ve got to catch my flight in the evening.
The Visterdja mansion had been passed down for many generations. It screams of wealth. Nephrite has yet to explore their own mansion and decided to invite Luminous in their own rose garden instead.
The back of their mansion had a small maze garden and two gazebos and two corners on opposite corners.
Damian left them after assigning some servants to arrange their food.
Nephrite decided to walk with Luminous around the garden.

“You,” Luminous started all of a sudden, catching Nephrite’s attention, “Are you close with your mom?”
“Yes, why did you ask?”
“Nothing much,” Luminous reasoned. He did not know how to bring up the things that worry him.
After what happened few days ago, he couldn't help but worry about Chraen’s actions. However, he also did not know how to inform the other person what actually happened that day. Just thinking of it made Luminous’ face heat up. How could I dare bring it up?
