IMPORTANT A/N THE AUTHOR IS STILL FIXING THE FOLLOWING CHAPTERS. AFTER THIS ONE(Rozagin Part 6), IT HAD BEEN MESSED UP DURING SCENE AND PLOTHOLE FIXING. I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. Rozagin Part 6: Confusion After they settled on the schedule to hang out, Nephrite bid farewell to Ignis before heading to the school library. He needed to check if there was psychology research in the library. Humans always strive to learn and discover. Even if this path wasn’t at a good level yet, Nephrite won’t believe that there was no person who had thought of the idea. Even if it’s just a little bit of understanding… He greeted the librarian and filled up the logbook. There was only one person in the library aside from him and the librarian. No disturbance meant it was good. He first checked Science, Health, and Medicine sections. Starting at the Health section, he patiently scanned the title of each book on the shelves, picking up those with relevance. After half an hour, he saw a book titled ‘The Mystery of the Mind’ on the upper part of the shelves. He tried to reach for the book. To Nephrite’s surprise, his elbow bumped onto someone else’s arm. Both of them looked at each other, shocked. The other person still had an open book in his other hand. It seemed that the other person was reading when he reached for the book, not paying attention to his surroundings. The other person was smaller than Nephrite by two to three centimeters. He was wearing a white topcoat over his uniform. His messy brown hair looked as if he had just gotten up from bed and ran directly to the library. His phoenix eyes looked smaller because of his lack of sleep. His skin was pale white as if he had not stood under the sun for months and...dark circles under his eyes screamed abuse. Those eyes that seemed dull just a moment ago suddenly brightened as the other person looked at Nephrite. “You—You really want to read that?” The other person had both incredulous and amazement in his eyes. His eyes filled with warmth, contrary to his cool voice. It was like a fresh breeze to listen to. If they were in a different situation, Nephrite would find the other person’s voice refreshing and attractive. However, Nephrite felt like time stood still as he stared at the man in front of him. So when the other person asked this question, he was so startled that he forgot he was on tiptoe. His knees buckled and he almost lost his balance. Good thing, someone grabbed his uniform from behind. His back landed on a solid, warm body. Nephrite blinked. “Are you alright?” Nephrite inwardly shivered as he felt Ignis’s warm breath on his ears as he asked this question. He moved his body away from him for a bit. Nephrite saw Ignis was not looking at him but at the other person. Not just Ignis, but even the other person was also staring back at his friend! Nephrite also had an inner turmoil inside him. At first, he thought Ignis was Xei. After all, he felt a certain familiarity with him and they clicked together. Nephrite was not even bothered that the other person don’t have his own memories again. He was recovering small parts of his memories during his mission at Kumoshima. Based on what happened in the first world that he recalled, Nephrite accepted the loss of memories easily. He even recalled a few interactions with Xei back then which improved his patience with the situation. Nephrite thought his interaction with Ignis right now was very good despite the misunderstanding back in the Core. But then, he met this other guy in the library and the flabbergasted Nephrite was not able to process the situation. Why can he also feel the same, weird familiarity and connection with this person? “I-I’m fine,” Nephrite moved away from Ignis. “You don’t need to do this but thank you but I thought you’re going to the club meeting?.” Ignis moved his gaze away from the other person to Chraen. “I forgot that I had something to do on Friday so I want to ask you if we could have our lunch together and change our plan.” “Right. Sure, let’s have lunch together later.” Nephrite then turned to the other person who was still gawking at them. “Yes, I would like to read that book. Are you familiar with it?” The other person took the book from the shelf and handed it to Nephrite. He glanced at Ignis before looking back at Nephrite and smiled, “I’m glad you wanted to read it. There were very few people that gave this even just a second glance.” Nephrite accepted the book, “Yes, it’s hard to change people’s belief after all, especially when it’s deeply rooted.” “I’m glad to hear that!” The other person’s eyes sparkled, which made Ignis frown but did not say anything. The other person then pointed something at the cover of the book, “By the way, this is my name.” Nephrite and Ignis both read the words the other person pointed to on the book cover. Luminous Zofel Madrozja Luminous continued, “As for your question earlier...Yes, I’m familiar with it,” he winked at Nephrite. "Do you need my guidance?"
