Rozagin Part 1: Nightmare The wind is blowing heavily outside. Is it gonna rain? Wait, it’s almost ten in the evening. I have to sleep soon. Ugh, but wait, I’m still not done customizing my profile. I had to pick new songs for my player, too. Oh this time, I will use a snowflakes gif! It will look like it’s snowing on my profile! Alright, set it to repeat. SAVE! Okay, next is the player. I should edit the player! What songs should I add—AHH! Dang it! Why am I still scared of thunder? I thought the tea mom gave me could cure it? I should— damn! Someone’s coming. Is it mom? It’s probably mom. I should pretend to sleep. Oh, mom is really nice. This sweet scent. She lit an incense. Oh, I’m sleepy. Oh, what happened? Why is it so dark? No power supply. Ugh, my arms hurt. Where am I? Did I sleepwalk? Really, why is it so sticky? Did I sweat a lot? Wa—this scent? Is this blood? Its blood!!! Huh, wait? Why am I just standing here? Why can’t I move? Wait? What the hell is that? What?! No, that can’t be! No! Why is it like this? Why were my hands bloodied?! Wait, is that?! No! T-that can’t be! I-impossible!!! How?! WHAT DID I f*****g DO?! ____________ Nephrite jolted awake. Sweat dripped down his back, tears trickled down his face and his body shook. What the f*ck was that? Did I transmigrate to a sleeping body last night? What was that all about? He whispered to himself. Nephrite looked around the room. It was large, with both layout and furniture mixed with modern and medieval design. he was surprised to see a flat-screened television and some gaming consoles in the far center of the room, with beanbags and a flat pillow cushion on the floor. There was also a bookshelf in the far corner of the room, a study table, and a personal computer beside it. While the doors were all medieval designs with a beast door knocker, the room also had a modern glass floor-to-ceiling window partially covered by long royal blue curtains. A door to the balcony was also partially open, letting the cool breeze in from the outside. Even the bed he was currently on was a queen-sized canopy bed! Nephrite took a series of deep breaths to calm himself down, then decided to check the new vessel’s identity before something happened like the last time. —huh? What happened last time? Nephrite froze. He really seemed to remember what happened in the first world! But how? Nephrite had not much time to contemplate what happened. He slid his palm on his forearms. A holographic panel appeared in front of him. The vessel’s name was Chraen Visterdja. Currently at senior student at Maple Senior High School. Quite known in their school for his sunny personality. Championed in interschool piano competition during Middle School. Nicknamed Prince. When he was 15 years old, Chraen had a series of sleepwalking cases and his mother always put incense in his room to help with his sleep. He also had a fear of lightning. He was very close to his mother. One time, he received a mysterious message telling him to be careful with the people around him. However, what threat could it be? He had a happy life. Until he woke up one day, hands bloodied and another person, a female in the same room, dead. Nephrite raised an eyebrow. So that dream was true? The vessel was framed for the crime. You could already guess what the vessel wished for. [Mission: Communicate with the mysterious ‘Plere’ who warned him and sent him a message. Find the real murderer who ruined the vessel's life and find justice] Who could the real culprit be? The Record Bank would never accept the contract if the vessel was a real criminal. It only means the vessel was convicted wrongly or framed. Either way, it involves a wide scope. I should go and look around, for now, Nephrite decided. He quickly read the rest of the information, closed the panel, and left the bed before the attendants came into the room. He found a modern wall clock. It’s just five in the morning. Great, I still have a chance to look around. He checked the vessel’s bag. But aside from his study materials, there was nothing out of ordinary. Nephrite sighed. It could be a great help to get some assistance right now. This mission was not simple as it seems. If only he could find his partner right away. “Where could Xei’s soul go this time?” he wondered. “I hope he did not have amnesia again.” Then he paused. A fleeting memory passed in Nephrite’s head. Though he already knew that Xei lost his memories back in the first world, it was still good for Nephrite to remember it on his own. Nephrite don’t know how to act in front of Xei if they ever met soon. He still felt a bit bitter but in a way, he could understand why the other hid it from him. After all, Xei knew he had feelings for Agase, Nephrite sighed. He wanted to ignore this fact for a while now. He knew he liked Agase but how could he get attracted to another man that fast? It was embarrassing, he wanted to scold himself for being an ingrate. After all, Agase saved him. What is this feeling for Xei, then? He had a limited understanding regarding affections. Maybe, I’m greedy. After all, affection was what I lacked the most my whole life. Living alone almost the whole 20+ years of his life, how can he differentiate this kind of emotion? “Ah, what are these thoughts?! Nephrite you’re a slag!” Nephrite scolded himself.
