CHAPTER 17 By the light of the fire, Brygida knelt beside Stefan, unwinding the bloodstained strips of cloth from his leg, careful not to brush against his hairy thigh and keep her eyes on the gash and no higher. The tunic shirt he wore fell just below his hips, covering everything, but if he shifted wrong… She’d never been close to a man apart from Kaspian, and they had never been this close.
