EARLIER THIS MORNING
Lucien woke up quite earlier and groaned as he had a migraine. Migraines were usually rare for vampires unless they exerted all their powers and their bodies shut down on their own. This usually happened when vampires have been tortured without stop for weeks, for someone to be that drained. So for him to be very drained, he also exerted himself last night. It was due to that captivating lure of the scent. He had been trying to control his appetite for hours but it was too big,. he had given up. He made his way back to the palace, taking good care not to get noticed by the townspeople or the guards who were guarding the castle. He had hidden among the shadows and had gotten to his chambers.
He opened the door and closed it behind him as he heard a voice said,
