CHAPTER 13
Tessa woke up the next morning as the sun shone directly on her face and she yawned. She looked around and saw that she had fallen asleep on the floor. She stood up groggily wondering why her legs were in so much pain, just to look down and see that her gown was stained in blood. She frowned at this, she thought she saw her period last week, why on earth was it staring again. But she shrugged, she just concluded this was as a result of stress and the pains she was feeling had to do with her menstrual cramps, so she quickly washed herself up before putting on a pad in case she had another flow. After ambling downstairs slowly, she met her step sisters and step mother already seated at the dining table having breakfast and they quickly frowned when they saw her.
