Chapter 5.

Alaric stepped into the finance division room with the man who brought him. His gaze immediately searched around the room, but couldn't find the girl he was looking for. I don't know where the girl named Margaretha who helped him, was not in this room even though HRD said they were in the same room. "You sit there, Alaric. Later the division head will give you an assignment." Alaric looked at him, then nodded politely. Stepping towards the seat the man said, Alaric saw a man turning on his computer. "Hi?" Alaric looked at him who had just spoken. "You greet me?" "Yes of course. What's your name? Which university are you from?" the man asked kindly, causing Alaric to look deeply into his eyes. It immediately occurred to his mind that this man was from a respectable rich family with high integrity in this country. His name was William Fredrick, the second of two children. Sensing that this man had no negative side to his mission, Alaric smiled and shook his hand, following the lifestyle of humans on this earth. "My name is Alaric Clell, I'm from Princeton High University. Who are you?" he asked back, making the man smile widely. "My name is William, I am not from this city university either. Are you here wandering and living in an apartment or flat?" he asked until Alaric was silent for a moment. Apartment? Flat? What's that? Alaric doesn't understand it, because he is not from this country. Even now his thoughts are being torn apart, between the clans and also how to get the Luna which is not that easy. Moreover, this is a different world for them. If in his country all girls will yearn and want them to be Luna, here it is not necessarily all the same. Because they were different, and he had to try to reconcile those differences. "Hey, you daydreaming?!" Alaric stared at the man in front of him silently. "Gosh, it's fine if you don't want to talk. I want to deliver the report I made last night, coincidentally the division head has arrived." William got up from his seat and walked away from him. Alaric could only follow the direction where the man was walking, entered a room after knocking on the door, and disappeared behind the door of that room. "Why haven't you turned on your computer yet?" Alaric looked to his right and found a woman who seemed to be frowning. "You have to turn on your computer and do a digital timesheet by filling out the attendance report form that was sent two minutes ago. Don't think too much, you're doing an internship and pursuing good grades to be proud of your university and your teaching grades. How can you even contemplate so early?!" "Ah, I'm sorry. I'm new to all this." Alaric said quickly, staring at the computer screen in front of him. "I will immediately do as you say." "Do it right away! In a few moments, the Head of Division will distribute the tasks you have to do." The woman who was the supervisor stepped in the other direction, leaving Alaric who was already staring at the computer in front of him with a frown. "How do I turn this on?" he asked himself, staring into the screen. Until a glimpse of how to use the tool in front of him. The thing that made him smile as he straightened his body and started pressing the power button on the upper right side of the keyboard. The originally black screen lit up showing a large W there. In an instant, Alaric had started logging into the form and sending out reports based on what he saw in his head. "Uh, you know that today we will meet. He came home from abroad after studying and doing his internship there. I can't wait to end our long-distance relationship." The familiar voice rang in the ears of Alaric who was silently waiting for what he should do next. His ears straightened, following whatever they were talking about because he felt that the girl was Luna who was with him that night until morning. "Oh yes? Will you meet him? Will he live in this city? I heard he's not a citizen of our town, right?" asked the voice that sounded like it belonged to one of the girls alone with the familiar voice. "Yes, he said he'd stay here for a few days. But if we get married, he will live with us he said." "Hah? Not making your own home, Margaretha? How could he possibly live with you? With your Daddy too?" "Erm, I don't know about that problem. We haven't talked about it further." Margaretha, the girl seemed to be pursing her lips. "But if I saw him, he would do everything for me. Franky loves me very much." She added, making Sessyl, a close friend of Margaretha's, nod. "Yes alright. I hope he becomes a real man or else there will be many men who snatch you from him. You are the Little Miss of the city of San Fresco, who every son of a rich family wants." Margaretha chuckled lightly hearing Sessyl's words. "You're too much. Nobody wants a spoiled girl like me," she said as she opened a file. "Yes, who said there wasn't? If only I were a boy, I'd be crazy about you," Sessyl joked, making Margaretha chuckle. "You're ridiculous sometimes," Margaretha said nonchalantly until Sessyl chuckled. Alaric narrowed his eyes at all of their conversations. "Franky? I'm curious about the guy you mentioned. Who's he? Is it from the Magicians or Vampires?" he thought with an uneasy look. If the man had come from one of those creatures, he would have had a hard time getting Margaretha. Moreover, if for example the wizarding nation first got Margaretha's heart, then things would get more complicated. He had to deal with the witches again because they were enemies of his people. If it's a Vampire, maybe it's still workable same. "I have to find out that man." His hands clenched into fists with a gleam. He had already left his Clan which was in a war between life and death. He will never let go of Luna who he has found so hard. He will risk his life here too, for the sake of his partner who is in front of his eyes. "Good morning everyone, today I will share what you should do. Collect all expenditure data for the construction of the eighth Branch, you must record it in two files. Send me the ones that have been recorded from start to finish. The report has been sent to the respective email on your computer." A man said suddenly, causing Alaric to stare at him before chuckling softly and staring at the computer screen in front of him. "Open the report and do as he says," he ordered from the bottom of his heart, with his feelings that were in turmoil due to what he had just heard from the conversation between the girl named Margaretha and her best friend. He also started to feel uneasy, a great worry welled up in his chest. "If you have questions or you don't understand how to organize them in a file, you can ask senior staff. Well, try not to become homework like what you did last night. I want the maximum to be collected today or you will get bad grades. Understood?" the man said again with a firm gaze. "All right, Mr. Chemmy." Only Alaric didn't answer among the others, because he started moving his hands and eyes doing what he was doing using the power he had in his mind. He never knew about the company and all kinds of divisions of tasks like this. But as a leader of the wolf nation, Alaric has internal powers that can help him live in any world. He will adapt easily, then behave and have the same thoughts and abilities as humans, even if they are above-average abilities. The finance division room was silent, only the sound of paper behind and the pressing of the keyboard could be heard. A few whispers between the apprentices were also heard, allowing Alaric to concentrate fully on what he was doing. And while everyone was busy figuring out all the data they had to work on, Alaric glanced secretly at the desk behind him. There, Margaretha was seen opening a file and looking intently at what was in it. "You are my Luna, finding you in this world is a different kind of hardship that I have to face. I hope you will help me later, Luna." Margaretha who was looking at the file was silent as she looked away. She held her chest for a moment, with the wrinkles on her forehead that were created so clearly. She heard a voice in his heart as if saying something she had never heard before. "Who's talking?" Margaretha thought as she looked around the busy surroundings. "Am I feeling? But what is Luna?" Alaric smiled at his desk at the sound of the girl's heart. "She is my Luna, my heart, and her heart are attached." ***
