Alaric froze for a moment at the realization he had just discovered.
All this time he had been struggling to find Luna everywhere. But now, in one night he had found a woman who had a fragrant aura just like his teacher said.
Soothing, soft, and also comfortable. But apart from that, there was a strong aura radiating behind that calm and innocent-looking face. Getting Alaric to recognize her at first was a basic introduction.
"She has a wolf-shaped mark on her neck. There was only one woman who had the mark and the wolf's eyes were blue. Because we are from the blue wolf nation."
Alaric seemed to tremble as he brushed the wavy brown hair of the girl on the sofa. He had to pull it aside and check the girl's neck for any sign of a wolf with blue eyes. With that, he will be able to mark this girl as his Luna and will also soon make her a mate.
But just as his hand was about to brush the hair, a voice was heard making Alaric turn his head towards something that seemed to glow.
He reached for it and saw a small square-shaped object that seemed to glow and made a strange sound.
"What's this?" he asked with furrowed brows.
Alaric even flipped it over, but he stopped and stared at the screen with Daddy's name on it.
"Daddy? Her father called?" he thought as he looked at the movements made by the girl sleeping on the sofa.
"Daddy... who called me? Is it Franky?" She asked in a hoarse, sleepy voice.
Even his sleeping behavior looked very lazy. The girl seemed to move and lay with her back to him, causing Alaric to smile a little involuntarily.
"Miss ..."
There was no answer until Alaric raised his hand and grabbed the girl's arm. He swallowed his saliva, this arm felt so soft, making him gulp at how white and smooth the arms of this sleeping girl were.
Never before had Alaric held an arm so smooth? In the nation, The women's hands they have are not this smooth because sometimes the women also train them with some knowledge that can make changes in the skin. It can make them stronger and victorious in war.
"Miss..." Alaric spoke again, calling out to the sleeping girl. "Miss? Get up, Miss..."
Gosh, he's so hard to wake up. Alaric said in his heart, then got up slowly and walked over feeling his back getting better.
He went to the window, opened the curtain that covered it, and saw the dense expanse of the city. Alaric took a deep breath, feeling the air that was quite suffocating. Very different from those in his Clan. Here the air seems to have been polluted because of air pollution from vehicles and also from locations that are starting to not be beautiful.
He turned his head towards the sofa which seemed to be moving. The girl on the sofa looks disturbed by the sunlight until Alaric could see her eyes blinking slowly before they finally opened.
"Gosh, Daddy ..." Her voice reached Alaric's ear until her lips slowly smiled. "Oh my, how can that be? There are hundreds of missed calls from Daddy. Did I fall asleep here? Daddy must be worried and looking for me everywhere! Good grief!"
The girl, who was none other than Margaretha, panicked as she got up and took her bag and books and cell phone, then prepared to walk when her eyes caught a figure in the room.
"Ah! You're awake, sir?" Margaretha stepped towards him, fixing her messy hair.
"Hmm, thanks for helping me," Alaric said a little stiffly, with a gaze that did not escape from the girl in front of him.
"Yes, you're welcome. Now I have to go back. My father must be worried because I left without saying goodbye to him." Margaretha said frantically, grabbing her bag and looking at Alaric. "Take good care of yourself, don't get hurt again. See you later..."
Alaric didn't answer, he just watched Margaretha leave who looked half running. The steps follow until he got outside and saw Margaretha who seemed to be waiting for something on the wall.
Soon in his gaze, a door opened and the girl whose name he didn't know came in and stepped aside before finally closing the door again.
Alaric stared at him for a long time. "In the human world there is a magic door too?" he thought as he raised his hand and took out the book Raulin had given him from there.
He read several passages as he slowly walked out of the room. His body seemed to dart, turning to the right until he found the stairs.
"There's a lot of stairs to the top of the building," Alaric mumbled softly, then sighed and smiled faintly. "I'm going to visit my people who live here."
Splash ...
In just a second, his body was lost in teleportation in a very fast time.
***
"Luna is here, sir?"
Alaric nodded slowly, looking at the old man standing in front of him.
"Yeah, I just met her last night. She is my Luna because I feel a strong aura from her. Her body also emits a sweet smell, which I recognize as Luna, my father, my mother." Alaric said while imagining the face of the girl who helped him.
"I have lived here for many years. But I never saw Luna here. But it's true, the true Luna can only be recognized by Alpha, namely Mr. Good fate has brought you here. I will help you to bring her to our warring clan, sir. Either way," said the middle-aged man named Haze as he bowed politely to Alaric who was their king.
However, Alaric did not immediately agree. He leaned back on the sofa in Haze's living room, a man who was a werewolf and still of the same nation and clan as him.
"She doesn't seem like an ordinary girl. When I went out and teleported earlier, she was already surrounded by a lot of people. I even saw the news on a screen on the street. It was said that she had been missing all night so her father and the rest of the town were looking for her." Alaric said as he looked at Haze who had rolled his eyes. "Do you know who she is?"
"Don't tell me that girl has brown curls and her face looks tiny?" Haze guessed making Alaric's eyes widen.
"Right, that's her. Is she a famous girl?" he asked, causing Haze to glare before finally reaching for the television remote and turning it on.
"Look, sir... She's the son of the richest man in town. Her name is Margaretha Abraham, an intern where I work as an office boy aka cleaning service. We used to call her Little Miss, because she was her father's favorite little daughter, Anston Abraham," clearly Haze made Alaric wrinkle his eyes which were still sharpened at the news about the girl named Margaretha.
~The residents are relieved, Little Miss Abraham has been found and is now returning to her father.~
Those were the words written there, as Alaric's thoughts were spinning thinking about what he had seen. The girl's father called her this morning at the hotel, and were they descended from werewolves?
"They were wolves?” Alaric asked dryly, but Haze shook his head quickly.
"No, sir. They are human beings, including her father, Mr. Anston. He was just an ordinary man, a normal human. However, sometimes I notice that there is something different about Little Miss's attitude. Every night after a full moon, if I saw her coming to the company, her eyes would glow blue. However, Little Miss doesn't seem to notice."
Alaric fell silent at that statement. He remembered that his Luna also had something in common with him, namely his eyes. All of the werewolf's internal strength usually comes from the eyes, as well as the hands.
And Margaretha had that mark in common.
"Where can I find her?"
