They both glared fiercely at each other, not minding the presence of strangers. Kynan snickered at her, “Why did you have to assume that my boss is mute? We could sue you for defamation.” “I could sue you for purposely putting my life in danger all through.” Godly eye candy frowned which Sorcha doesn't want. “It will be nicer of you to find a competent assistant while coming to this place next time, have a good day.” With that, she ended the conversation and strutted out of the venue. Mira followed suit. Mira caught up to her in the car, “To where ma'am?” After a day like this, it was always back at home. “Home,” she said, not disappointing Mira. She ignited the engine and drove back home. Inside Sorcha's second room, it was more like a place where she usually worked. And inside the room, there were many pieces of clothes laid on every part of the room, but there was this shiny one. It was a ball dress, long and exquisite. “Shift every meeting with Karen till afternoon, and also the one with the venue should be shifted till next week.” “Isn't that too far?” Mira raised a question. “Don't defy me, leave here,” Mira quietly exited the room. Sorcha frowned and glared at the pile of work in front of her. She picked up her phone and dialed a number, “hello, I need you to investigate someone for me. Not only to investigate but to search for every dirt on him, his name, his age, everything about him.” The person on the other line was dumbstruck, how was he supposed to do that if she knows nothing about the person herself that would lead him to the person? “What are the details you know about him?” “He's a real estate agent, and he owns Royal Garden Venue…beep beep.” Sorcha hung up after relaying the little details she knows about Godly eye candy. She jumped onto the sofa and closed her eyes. Thirty minutes later, her phone oozed for a message. She brought the phone to her face and clicked on the notification. A bright smile shone on her face the next moment, and she smiled pathetically. She stood up briefly and dressed up again. She met Mira at the front of her door, pacing to and fro. “I'm off to the supermarket,” she said lightly and dragged her feet along the corridor. Mira was caught off guard, “It's my responsibility to carry out this task. Let me,” Sorcha turned and glared at her, “You've gotten so daring, I don't need you to do my work again. I am a responsible lady,” Mira frowned as if somewhat doubting if Sorcha's words were complete. Seems like Sorcha forgot to add the ‘now’ that is supposed to follow that sentence. She humped and took her leave. Half an hour later, Sorcha was spotted entering the famous supermarket. She had stood in the parking lot for almost ten minutes, with her eyes fixed on the figure looking expressionless while ordering for things. She heaved a deep breath, as if finally taking the courage to go in. She got out of the car with a slam on the door. She walked elegantly into the supermarket and tried to act as natural as possible. She took some minutes picking up her favorite cart to shop for things. She walked off to the chocolate section in the supermarket. Her gaze lingered on that particular candy bar. It had been her favorite since birth. But it just happened to be that it was the only one left on the shelves. Her gaze seemed to be only focused on the candy bar, but from the corner of her eyes, she had already sighted the man that was approaching that same shelf she had her eyes on. She became aware of the supermarket's atmosphere. She noticed the gasp that came from all directions in the supermarket. People's eyes were full of admiration for the beauty that was approaching her. She made her move also, she walked nonchalantly towards the shelf and tried to take over the candy bar to herself, but just then, she realized that someone's hand was also clutched tightly to that candy bar. Her brow crept up in a deep frown as she raised her head to look at the person. Oh! It's Godly eye candy. The realization dawned on her. “Looks like we share the same preference when it comes to what we digest. We met again,” She said casually. But Godly eye candy felt something weird with her reaction. He withdrew his hand and made a slight turn in his posture. Sorcha panicked for a while, before it came to her head to hold him back. “Help me take down the candy bar,” Godly eye candy didn't stop for a while to take a look back at her. He found her words nonsensical already. But he didn't expect her to take her craziness to the next step. His face met up with Sorcha's ridiculous face, she looked extremely adorable, yet annoying to him at the same time. Their faces were so up close, “cut through,” his words carried an air of arrogance just like it surrounded him. Sorcha took in a deep breath, as if trying to calm herself before delivering a long speech. “As a gent…” Sorcha: ……. Before she could even begin, he had already turned and got the candy bar from the shelf. She had thought that he would shove her away guessing from how impatient he looked and sounded. She felt the cold stare from the people in the supermarket, they must think very lowly of her. She cried inwardly glaring dagger at the man,but he didn't bat an eye at her glare. Sensing that she wouldn't move, he shoved her lightly, thereby making contact with that. But at that short span, the supermarket suddenly turned noisy as a certain appeared dashing from the supermarket door. Of course, it was none other than Kynan. Her terrible luck! Kynan appeared in their front in a flash, and he stood in front of the cold man as if trying to protect him. But despite his stance, the man behind still managed to loom larger. “Boss, let's escape from this terrible lady,” With that, Kynan pulled the man with all the strength despite the reluctance from the man.
