Kira pushed harder.
She stomped on his feet.
‘Let me go!’ she hissed.
Austyn swept his eyes over her pale face and red eyes.
She bared her teeth and whisper-growled, ‘Get out! You’re not welcome here! Get lost!’
The hatred in her eyes pierced him.
Austyn tightened his grip on her waist. ‘I’m not welcome here? Woman, do you know who owns this hospital?’
‘You’re going to tell me you own this place?’ Kira sneered. ‘So what? Are you going to throw us out?’
‘I can if I want to. All it takes is one phone call.’
Kira stared at him, incredulous.
The man must have a stone for a heart.
‘Are you insane? Giana is still unconscious. How can you be so cold-blooded? I want you to leave. Right now! Get out!’
His cruelty made her blood boil.
